13.01.2022 Not in my wildest dreams did I expect my Hair Academy to grow as fast as it did. Sometimes I need to pinch myself to how blessed I am to be surrounded by such amazing motivated artists that want to learn from me From Kalgoorlie to Busselton, & Even the Pilbara, Hairdressers from Salons all over WA are travelling to my classes . It makes me so happy to teach,inspire & share what I love so much to do. My transition into education has been a smooth one, thanks to my beautiful... loyal hair clients who have worked around my busy schedule of educating to still visit the salon and be so supportive of my passion. I want to thank everyone who has attended my classes, you guys are amazing and are all very talented hairdressers,I love to see your confidence grow, your beautiful work progressing & your heart warming reviews. I teach open air painting with a paint brush helping you master the art of correct saturation, tension, dimension and choosing your activation level. ... I can not wait to be back educating, creating & inspiring . It makes me so happy

10.01.2022 & 1. . Despite what you might read, you don’t need to post 6 Days of the week at all. Sometimes I have my highest engagement in a week where I post 1-2 times. Quality over Quantity. 2. . If you leave it to the last minute & don’t find time to sit down once a week & schedule it can become ove...rwhelming. You could also hire a social media manager to help take the load off. 3. ’ . It should be a fun platform for sharing, learning & inspiring. It’s not a job but you are building your business or brand so if you’re not enjoying it, your audience will feel that. Maybe post some funny memes & inspo quotes so you don’t feel like you have to always post huge captions. 4. ’ . Don’t compare yourself to anyone else on the gram. It would be pretty boring if we all posted the same thing. Be authentic, be raw & be real 5. ?? Because this is HUGE. If you don’t believe in it, what’s your audience going to think, are you just posting for the sake of posting or are you just trying to keep up? OR do you truly believe that you are either helping, educating, or inspiring others? 10.01.2022 Time flies when your doing something you love so much Its been 6 Months Since I officially opened my hair academy And I am so glad I took that leap of faith & let my passion guide me to where I am today. My academy is absolutely cranking , and I've been fortunate enough to meet some awesome talented souls . I now run a variety of classes on Monday & Friday's and do hair at the salon Tuesday to Thursday @lowtoxsalon... What else is happening? 09.01.2022 Although 2020 didn't go exactly to plan , there was highs but the lows were low But I can't disregard that I had one of my biggest accomplishments in Business. (Apart from opening my salon). My dream of opening my Hair Academy happened. I got to meet & mentor the most lovely Hair Artists from all over WA. To watch their confidence grow, and watch them smash some serious Goals makes me so happy (Happy tears) . ... So THANKYOU to all of you that attended my classes, and Continue to support my Journey in Educating, this wouldn't have been possible without you Of course 2021 is going to be better, but we can all take something wonderful from it ,even it was making positive behaviour patterns,spending more time with the children & enjoying the simple things in life right?! 08.01.2022 I’ve had so many people ask me if I’m still doing hair lately I thought I better talk about this . . The answer is YES I am still doing hair . Hairdressing always has & always will be my passion , making people feel & look amazing makesi my heart happy I have just taken a bit of a different direction lately .... I work in the salon from Tues - Fri and I have the most beautiful clients who I love & appreciate so much. . On Mondays I run classes for my Academy training which I am absolutely loving ! Educating is so damn rewarding and I get to meet the most beautiful souls who are motivated & driven to grow & improve. I am also so passionate about mentoring , helping artists with a holistic approach to grow their business & self worth I have been hairdressing for 19 years and what I have learnt along the way not just in skills but in business I want to share as much as I can. 07.01.2022 Last Thursday I had the privilege of having a content photoshoot at my salon with a very talented friend & client of mine. I was a tad nervous , as much as this might surprise you I’m not a huge fan of photos of myself But I do think it’s important to share photos of yourself so your clients get to know you before stepping in your salon ... By stepping out of my comfort zone this has allowed me to move forward & grow in my business . Because if we didn’t , in the worry of being uncomfortable, we would forever be too content & complacent and that doesn’t help with our personal growth. Do you agree??? 02.01.2022 TIPS FOR ATTRACTING DREAM CLIENTS . . Years ago I use to attract the wrong type of client. Yep there is a wrong type .The type that doesn’t respect your boundaries , prices, business or self worth , but you just keep squeezing them in for the but is it really worth it? ... I mean it totally drains the life outta you right?! . Here’s a few tips to help with that situation . . Throw out what you want to attract .Meaning if you want to attract the hippy goddess that only loves organic products and will pay good prices for good quality Colours start promoting that. Market yourself correctly . You can manifest your clients just by how you market your brand , you need to be that brand first for it to be authentic. Set your times/hours and prices and stick to them , don’t be wishy washy and changes things too often.Clients will respect you a lot more & want to pay your prices . Respect yourself to be respected. Offer something no one else is , be unique & spoil your already clients, they are your gold & will be your word of mouth. Clients are attracted to how you make them feel not necessarily how you make them look. Invest in yourself, if your not feeling great about yourself ,you might not be putting the right energy out there, positive energy = dream clients. 01.01.2022 As much as I love Instagram as a platform to share, inspire & educate, I think what’s most valuable is looking after your clients in your salon. Nice Instagram photos might bring the clients in, but you need to figure out how to keep them , .... So make sure you’re putting in just as much if not more effort into paying customers not just your followers. See more
