25.01.2022 Swipe Right for Before Colour refresh It’s amazing what Natural vs Artificial light looks like. Also when it’s curled vs when it’s straight. ... Please always keep in mind when going into a salon and wanting something from a picture you need to remember that most photos have filters applied to it. For example: Brightness as been touched Angle of photo can make colour look different The Contrast/Saturation/Vibrance have been played with. Pre made filters have been applied Not saying that it’s bad to bring an inspiration pic to your hair stylist but don’t expect the stylist to able to get it spot on ALSO LOVING my new colour range MUK Hair Care. @ Locks and Lashes by Jess

23.01.2022 GOOD MORNING EVERYONE Firstly happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there Secondly, our WA roadmap. As you can see from the photo, all BEAUTY (eyelash extensions in my case) are still restricted. We are in PHASE 3. Going off the roadmap we should be up and running for lashes about middle of June. Please be patient, we are getting there slowly. ... To all my regulars who get lashes, i would be slowly thinking about in the next few weeks wanting to get your appointments booked in for middle/end of June as I will get booked up quickly. We still need to take every day as it comes because things might change again if we see a spike in cases. Now that iv had some time to get around it, hopefully the online booking system for lashes will also be up and running. Bare with me please. 23.01.2022 Absolutely love doing this kind of work. This took us 6 hrs in the chair. When doing this type of work please remember that it does take time. Kimberely has had pink hair for a few years now but hadn’t had it done for over a year so you could image the regrowth and she has the most thickest hair. This is a fashion colour and is high maintenance. Not using the right products like your shampoo/conditioner the colour can fade very quickly.... Thanks for sitting in the chair that long chick

17.01.2022 Good morning everyone. Hope everyone had a lovely long weekend. I’m just wanting to touch base about the corona virus that is spreading around the world at the moment. I know that there are a lot of opinions about the virus but it is so important to please stay home if you are not feeling well. I please ask for anyone wanting to book an appointments that has been travelling back from anywhere over seas to please not book an appointment till 2 weeks after your travels. Any c...lients that are not feeling well or have come down with the flu please think about other people and not book that appointment. I hope I am not coming across as being rude but please understand that i have a lot of elderly clients that come into the salon and I also run the salon by myself. If I fall ill, I can’t open the salon meaning that I lose out on my income and my clients miss out on their appointments. I value the health and safety of my clients and would absolutely hate them falling ill. I hope everyone is being safe and have a great rest of the week

17.01.2022 What a change for my beautiful client today. As this is a fashion colour it is recommended to keep update with keeping the ends freshly coloured or using a coloured conditioner. Also washing your hair with cold water keeps the colour round for longer. Heat of any kind is bad for your hair The end result is

16.01.2022 Good morning Last night there was an alteration at the salon where the cops had to be called for mine and a clients safety. As most of you know I do quite late hours so for myself and my clients safety the front gate will be closed/locked from 5.30 onwards each night and if you have an appointment after that time please message me that your out the front and I will come open the gate. ... 15.01.2022 STILL OPERATING Hello everyone, for the time being I am remaining open. As I am the only person in the salon there is usually 2 or 3 at the most in the salon at a time and hair stations are quiet far apart from one another which works with the guildlines at the moment. Please understand when the government tells us to close up for lock down if they do that I will be needing to reschedule all appointments. I have no control of this so please be kind and understanding. ... It’s hard times for everyone at the moment including small businesses. While us little guys are still operating please support your local businesses where ever you can. I cant tell you enough how much it would be appreciated.

15.01.2022 UPDATE Hi there It’s all a little crazy at the moment with everything that is going on especially with small businesses not knowing if to close or stay open.... At the moment I will be staying open but with some restrictions. I will only be opening the salon on days that clients have appointments on. I will be selecting them days week by week. As people are slowly starting to stay at home there are not a lot of appointments being made. I also want to start slowly self isolating myself, the sooner we start doing this the quicker we go back to some normality. I’m trying my best to still keep operating and keeping everyone happy but at the same time I’m needing to look after my own health. I will keep in contact with all my clients who have appointments at the moment and all I can say is we just need to take every day and update as it comes.

10.01.2022 NEW OPENING HOURS FOR THE SALON STARTING 1st NOVEMBER SUNDAY/MONDAY: CLOSED TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY: 10-6 FRIDAY: 9-4... SATURDAY: 9-2 I have decided to change the hours at the salon. As I am the only person still in salon and I also do eyelash extensions as well as hair I’m fully booked mostly all day every day so that means most times I don’t get a lunch break. I also do after hour clients for eyelash extensions so I don’t get out of the salon till late. I feel like giving myself that extra hour in the morning gives me extra time to go get salon product if needed/not dealing with peak hr/getting any appointments done myself/ getting salon ready for the day and just starting off the day more relaxed and not rushed. 09.01.2022 Exciting News I can’t wait to announce that in a few weeks time I will be able to offer a whole lot more of different services at the salon. Introducing ... Honey LeZah Beauty Hazel is a beautiful client of mine and she will be renting out one of the rooms. She is kick starting off her business and I know she’s going to go far in the industry. She will be offering all types of beauty treatments and will also be offering Remedial/ Swedish massage. All in time for Christmas We are still finalising a few bits and pieces but will put up a post when she will be starting soon. In the mean time please go like her page and give her some love and keep update with her announcements. I can’t wait to start working together

07.01.2022 Hi Everyone Just wanting to put this post out to regular clients, new clients and I guess to the general public. Please understand that what is going on with this virus at the moment is quiet serious. If you have an appointment and come into the salon and I can see that your sick I have the right as a business owner to refuse to continue with your service and to please ask you to leave the salon and reschedule your appointment. Understand that you are putting myself and my c...lients at risk. I also have the right to ask if you have been travelling or have been in contact with anyone with the flu lately. As much as we all want our hair and lashes done please answer this truthfully as it’s only fair. Please also understand if this does spread quiet quickly I may also need to close the salon for an amount of time. This will be a last resort but wanting to give plenty of warning. I am making sure that the salon is kept very clean with wiping down stations and chairs after every client. I also have hand sanitizer at the front desk which I please ask everyone to use when entering and leaving salon. Sorry to bang on about this but it needs to be done. 07.01.2022 Good morning everyone Well as we heard more news from last night on COVID-19 the government have said they will be closing down beauty therapist from midnight tonight and hair appointments are only allowed to be 30 mins. So from tomorrow I will not be taking on any more lashing clients till we are allowed to do so. Over today/tonight I will be contacting clients who have future appointments about this. I will be super busy today so please keep that in mind if I haven’t rep...lied ASAP. To CLIENTS I HAVE ALREADY MESSAGED with appointments this week-next week you know who you are please keep to what we have spoken about.
