24.01.2022 Hey everyone MakeupbyAylce here. I’m Emma’s little sister! I am a hair and makeup artist who also offers beauty services. Beauty’s opening back up November 22nd onwards, hooray! Emma and I are thinking of adding makeup, hair-styling, lash tints, lifts and brow waxing/lamination to our services in Cockatoo. But wanted to know if this is something you would be interested in? ... It would be looking like Mondays/Tuesdays and Friday evenings in 2021. I also work from my home salon, based in Sassafras Wednesday to Saturdays and will be reopening November 30th onwards. Feel free to message either of our pages, or leave a comment below. We have almost been in self isolation for two weeks now, and my gosh it’s been testing (esp with the wet weather coz it means we can’t be outside) I just wanted to check in with you all and see how your doing, we need to make sure everyone is feeling supported in this difficult time. Btw, this is me below, making sure I’m 2m away and making sure you don’t ruin your hair with box dyes! I know the greys/regrowth will be bad, but please try to push through and maybe try and hide it so you don’t notice it I’m In the same boat as you guys too! 17.01.2022 Hey everyone! My phone is blowing up about today’s announcement that hair salons are allowed to reopen. As exciting as this is, please bear with me as i am still awaiting the rules that apply to home salons- as we as residential properties have a different set of rules to work by than commercial shops. I will reply to messages and calls when I can, knowing what/how is the safest way that I can reopen around all my awesome clients and also my family xx

16.01.2022 Hey Everyone!! The low numbers Victoria is testing at now is awesome, and hopefully means we are on track to re-open on the 26th of October! Once I know when we are allowed to definitely reopen, I will be opening up appointments, so keep your eyes peeled for when that happens! Hope you are all safe and well! Emma x

15.01.2022 Hey everyone I know everyone is eager to book in their hair appointments, unfortunately there is still not much clarification as to the date we are reopening, and also what restrictions we may have to reopen under ie one client at a time etc like before stage 4 was announced. As soon as I know, you will know as I will post any updates I get- hopefully by the end of the week we shall have more clarification, and I can start booking in appointments for you all!... Please know that you will need to call me to make an appointment, online bookings will be disabled, and phone calls are the quickest and easiest way of finding suitable times and dates for your hair needs, rather than the back and forth of text messages Please have a think about what sort of appointment you need, and also have a look at your calendar so you know what date(s) you want to book for I can’t wait to see you all!!

12.01.2022 Okay guys, I know your not loving your ISO regrowth, but I totally am!! So many amazing hair transformations have been made, and it’s not even been a week since I reopened! I’m fully booked for this week, but Have a couple of vacancies next week. Please text or call as online bookings are still disabled- they will be back one day, but for now I need to be in control of appointments etc so that I can clean and sanitise between clients, and there is still only one client and myself in the salon at the same time :) P.S is anyone else crushing on copper blondes at the moment??

11.01.2022 Complete Change for Cathie today! She likes bold and colourful hair and hasn’t been to see me for almost 4 years; getting her hair done elsewhere. 10.01.2022 To my wonderful clients, For now, I am having to close my door for all services Unfortunately the measures brought in place by the PM means I could only provide haircuts, but, if I really am honest with you all, I really don’t think I am an essential service at this time. My trade doesn’t allow me to keep the recommended distance from my clients, and I must put the health of myself, my family and you guys before fabulous hair.... This absolutely breaks my heart, and has not be an easy decision to make Hopefully if we all self isolate now, then we can flatten the curve, and all the businesses that have been effected by this can resume trading again; sooner rather than later. I love you all and look forward to seeing each and every one of you in my salon, and I look forward to seeing you on the other side of this. 08.01.2022 Hello all my lovely clients! It is with a heavy heart, that I, like all other non-essential businesses will not be allowed to trade from Tuesday onwards. 02.01.2022 Hey everyone! As I’m sure your aware, Hairdressing is to be closed until October 26, and this too is dependant on state numbers. The announcement yesterday was a devastating one, and I am feeling so much for all business in Victoria right now. I miss all my clients so much, and I feel so out of touch not seeing you all. I hope you and your loved ones are safe. Im going to open my books closer to the proposed date to start getting your appointments booked in- I am hesitant to ...book appointments now as I don’t want to have to cancel and reschedule them all if we still cannot open, and also hopefully we will know if there are any restrictions to us opening like their was pre- stage 3/4. Please reach out of there is anything I can do for you! 01.01.2022 Woo hoo!! All being well, I’m will be BACK FULL TIME in the salon starting WEDNESDAY 10th of June!! Please text me if you would like to start booking appointments- I have disabled online bookings for now due to the regulations I need to work within. Due to current social distancing laws, I am only allowed one client in at a time, so therefore booking appointment times may be trickier than normal due to less appointments available.
