19.01.2022 Hi everyone. Firstly I would just like to thank you all for your ongoing support. Business continues as usual this week as per PM announcement. At Hair on Turpin we continue to follow strict sterilization guidelines by using hospital grade disinfectants and continue to follow the social distancing rule by keeping our clients the required distance apart. As you are all aware things change quickly during these times and we will endeavour to keep you updated should ther...e be further change. We appreciate those who have cancelled due to illness or health issues that have chosen to stay home until recovered and also appreciate all of you still coming for their regular hair do's! We all have to look good and feel good in this time of unrest.......This week Jo ,Gill , Jill and Tanya still have some spots available so look forward to seeing you soon. 16.01.2022 Today we Celebrate my Mum Jill , after 53 years of hairdressing on the 15 th of March ,employing many staff , seniors ,apprentices ,Saturday girls ,owning 7 salons she is about to semi retire . With that said her last day of owning Hair on Turpin is Thursday . My mum has had an amazing career and has been blessed with wonderful clients ,most she can call friends .I have been lucky enough to have worked with my mum on and off for the past 30 years , together we have been fortu...nate to have many loyal customers , loads of fun times ... and for that we are super thankful . While mum is Semi retiring she will still be available Wednesday and Thursday mornings . 15.01.2022 RE: CORONAVIRUS OR COVID19 At HAIR ON TURPIN we want to let all of our clients know that during this time of this pandemic we are currently still operating as per normal hours. However we would like to make sure that all of our clients feel assured that we are taking special precautions to help keep everyone safe with regard to safe hygiene. All capes and towels are washed after every client, tools sterilized, benches and chairs wiped down with hospital grade disinfectant . We wash our hands before and after each client and we will endeavour to keep the required distance between individual clients . IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL OR HAVE FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHER CLIENTS AND US STAFF MEMBERS. 15.01.2022 A year ago today I took over as owner of Hair on Turpin and what a year it has been . I would like to thank everyone for their continued support at the salon . The girls who work so hard and long hours to make us the busy salon that we are and provide you all our valued clients and friends with your fabulous hair do’s and also to Jill for helping make this transition easier We survived the merging of Mondo Hair and we survived the renovations even though the...re were many times no one knew where the front desk was going to be when they came in next as things were moved around daily . ( I do have to add though there are still a few more to come but am pretty sure the desk will stay as is ) We will also survive Covid 19 . Having the 3 rd basin now makes it easier to keep to the distancing rules along with having 9 work stations so keeping clients to every 2 Nd chair . 09.01.2022 Hi again everyone with our latest update... we are currently still open and working as per Scomo PM advice with regard to restrictions. Jo and I are offering extra opening hours including Sunday and Monday if necessary to allow us to make sure we abide by our social spacing rules and providing you all of the comfort knowing there are only a couple of clients in at any one time. If you have a colour processing we have provided chairs for you to process outside whilst keepi...ng required distance and the coffee is on us (take away ) as we are trying to help keep next doors take away alive by giving them a bit of business. If you have an appointment in the coming weeks and would like to reschedule and bring it closer please contact us as we don't know when the government will move us hairdressers into the possible next stage of closure. We continue to practice safe and complete sterilization of all tools and work areas including the use of hospital grade disinfectants. 01.01.2022 Hi everyone. Hope your all coping well through these difficult and extraordinary times. I will continue to keep you updated over the coming weeks. We are sti...ll operating as usual as per government regulations and abiding by strict social distancing using the 4m2 rule along with the continued sterilization of all work areas and tools. Jo has taken a break to spend time with family until after Easter but still contactable and Gill is still working Tuesdays at this stage. I am working as usual and doing extra hours to allow clients that wish to be in the salon on their own . Easter is just around the corner so we will be closed over the four day period but phone will be diverted to my mobile if you wish to make bookings for after Easter with any of the girls .
