16.01.2022 Hi all. Wow it’s really happening. At this stage the salon will still be open under government guide lines that came out tonight. I have put extra precautions in place ie. have purchased extra capes & brushes (one per person before sterilizing/cleansing). Hand sanitisers is a must when entering & leaving the salon. If you are unwell, let’s try & reschedule so that we can all stay safe & then I can do my best to see you all before a permanent shut down is enforced. Also d...ue to border closers. I won’t be attending mums 90th birthday next week in SA. (30th March - 4th April.) With this in mind, and as we don’t know what’s in store, if anyone who is booked in for the week of Easter (5th April-9th April) and would like to come earlier I would be more than happy to fit you in next week? Another reason for this is to space you all out so we can adhere to the social distance policy. 09.01.2022 Tip.....check this out... the difference between hydration and no hydration What is Frizz? Frizz occurs when the cuticle layer of your hair is raised, allowing moisture to pass through and swell the strands! As a result, your hair appears dry and frizzy instead of smooth and defined. In general, curly hair tends to leave more frizz than straight hair because of dehydration in the strands, therefore leaving it more vulnerable to frizzing.... Learning steps on how to hydrate your hair can take the stress out of your every day morning routine giving you smooth defined curls with luscious bounce. On the right side of this hair we have gone in an hydrated the hair... it looks like slippery noodles! The left side hasn’t been hydrated yet... here you can see lots of frizz! A wet brush is a must!

05.01.2022 I’m always forgetting to take before photos... this beautiful client came in with brown hair and was over having to come in every 4 weeks for a touch up regrowth colour... so after sharing lots of options with her, we decided on using the good old bag hi lites option. What a great even result with Natulique certified organic colour!
