24.01.2022 Alhamdulillah!! The team have been focusing on a real cross section of services and it has been a big task but we are getting there, Insya'Allah, over the next few days we will be activating the Perth Restaurant Group and sharing it for locals to submit range of Halal Certified or Halal Suitable venues in Perth (and WA) for Halal Consumers. We will be launching an exciting range of Promotions to Perth supporting Muharram from 19th August onwards.

This is a great way for people to nominate Restaurants, Cafes, Butchers, Products - anything that is suitable for the Halal Consumer.... The team at Halal Food felt it was time to lead into the market and recognise the value that many in the Food Industry deserve. We want to promote a Positive Message in supporting those that give us the best flavours to enjoy on our night out with family and friends. 13.01.2022 As an update to everyone. We are atm working through the Halal Products Listings, Halal Restaurants and Halal Meats section. These are being updated regularly but it is a huge job checking and verifying Halal Status from the many Companies and Organisations throughout Australia. So while we focus on that for another week (2 weeks at most) , Insya'Allah, we will be able to switch on all features and activate the Members section to the public. 11.01.2022 We just launched up some articles of interest. Tourism Australia has a fantastic interactive site that gives some valuable insight into the Tourists coming to Australia. We just played around with the statistics to get an indication on what the Muslim Tourist Value to Australia is as an indication. Summary for 2019:... 1. Approxiametly 1.1 Million Muslim tourists came to Australia 2. With an average stay of 40 Nights 3. Spending an estimated $4.75 Billion into the local economy. 09.01.2022 Abbots Village Bakery Bread has a range of Halal Certified or Halal Suitable Range products. These have just been included within our product directory. The Gluten Free Range are marked as Halal Suitable as they are not included within the Halal Certificate but we have been advised that no Animal or Alcohol based products are used within the making of this line. We have written to AFIC and Abbots for further confirmation on the Gluten Free product line. Key to our logo is the need to reflect on the Traditional Custodians of Australia - throughout our logo are images that connect the diverse Australian Culture with Food. We will be launching a new promotional video to outline the design and what it means to us in the next few days.... 07.01.2022 Halal Food Australia present the first in a series of presentations to help Halal Consumers. "Paddock to the Plate" gives an overview of the process from the farm to the supermarket shelf for your Halal Meat options. It also gives an outline on how Halal Certification affects the quality of Halal Meat that is processed, packaged and distributed through the Supermarkets. The purpose of this is to help provide information to Consumers that need to access Meat products through m...ainstream Supermarkets. We have updated a referral form to our site https://www.halalfood.com.au/referrals We are inviting everyone that has been fortunate to enjoy a meal from a quality local Restaurant, Cafe or Food Outlet that is suitable for consideration to be listed on our Halal Directory to submit a referral. For each referral that does become a listing on https://www.halalfood.com.au we will provide an incentive of $20 (AUD). This can be paid on as a donation or as a voucher to an Online Store.

There are a number of products involved so we will release 20 a day till competed. Swisse have advised that the range of products we have updated are Halal Suitable and contain no Animal or Alcohol Trace products.
