21.01.2022 Early October brings out a few very early Tall Bearded Irises. We are still about three or four weeks away from peak flowering, so there is a lot to look forward to.

13.01.2022 Here in the West it will be a perfect day. There's some sound advice here if you're game. I'd add remember to use a bit of sunscreens on those rarely exposed parts!

13.01.2022 Iris flowering has pretty much finished, with a thinner display than usual due to a couple of dry years, but the Epiphyllums are bursting forth now. I love the splendour of these flowers, some of which are huge.

04.01.2022 It's the start of Spring. It's raining and dull except for our Cliveas. Some gorgeous blooms are out at the moment making up for the lack of colour in the patch.
