It could be as simple as adding some fresh plants into your home or investing in some fresh towels for the bathroom. Anything that makes you feel like your house is your home.

21.01.2022 Have you indulged in a delicious, nourishing soup this winter season yet? Why not try this super simple recipe the next time you’re stuck on what to cook.. (a Taste favourite!). Ingredients: 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 onion, finely chopped... 1 leek, white part only, finely sliced 1 garlic clove, crushed 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg 1kg peeled pumpkin, diced 1 large potato, peeled, diced 1L Massel chicken style liquid stock or vegetable liquid stock 1/2 cup (125ml) thin cream Step 1: Heat oil in a large saucepan over low heat, add onion and leek and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened but not coloured. Add garlic and spices and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add pumpkin, potato and stock and bring to the boil. Turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then blend in batches. Step 2: Return soup to pan, stir through cream and reheat gently. Season and add a little more nutmeg if desired. Enjoy!!

21.01.2022 If you have a health issue you wanted solving, you may ask, what would we do differently? Dr Georgina has completed her certification with the Institute of Functional Medicine which has given her an ever growing appreciation for the importance of underlying causes and contributors to her patients’ symptoms. She has found patient care that involves this kind of approach to be very rewarding, particularly when a patient’s previous investigation or treatment program has not been successful.

15.01.2022 Want to give yourself a boost of energy, clear your head and improve your brain health in the next few minutes? The neuron cells in your brain need 3 main things to function - proper amount of glucose, oxygen and stimulation. So how do we make sure these cells get enough oxygen? ... Circulation! One of the best ways to increase circulation (and therefore oxygen), is to move your body. So stand up and let’s get the blood flowing. Have a go doing 3 rounds of the following: 10 squats 10 mountain climbers 10 star jumps Let me know when you’ve done it! See more

15.01.2022 How do you feel as a midlife woman? Do you believe that your symptoms are just because of your age? Do you believe that once you lose your libido, it will never return?... Do you believe it’s normal to feel tired when you wake up? Throughout my career, there’s one thing that I can tell you - it doesn’t have to be this way. Your symptoms can be managed. Your libido can come back. And you can wake up feeling energised after a night’s sleep. You can book in a consultation, if you’d like to chat more and make this your reality. See more

15.01.2022 "In addition to diagnosing and prescribing, I have always been interested in WHY at the most fundamental cellular level, symptoms and disease actually occur. I am also often perplexed as to how little we can offer in terms of an explanation for ‘undiagnosed symptoms’ and for the ‘unexplained’ differences in how disease turns out in different people. Scientific research is slowly revealing more details about the microscopic changes and environmental influences that lea...d to disease and these discoveries are allowing a far more precise and individualised approach to patient management." - Dr Georgina Hale

14.01.2022 One of the most unique things about treatment with Dr Georgina is her personalised approach to treatment and healing. There isn’t one way to heal that works for everyone. Even those who may share similar symptoms and conditions require different treatment plans. Using both population evidence data as well as scientific data from studies done on the individual person’s body (thanks to our comprehensive questionnaire), a personal and effective treatment plan can be formula...ted, giving the individual the best possible chance of healing. . 03.01.2022 Me time. It’s a phrase I use often with my patients. Many lack prioritising time for themselves - even a short 5 minutes. ... I understand. I truly do. I know what it’s like to be busy and feel like there’s not time. I know what having an endless to do list is like and the thought of taking time out is definitely not at the top of that list. It’s not even on the list. I want to encourage you thought to choose something different. I want you to choose to make the time to be with yourself. Nothing crazy - just a short 5 or 10 minutes for a sit down with a cup of tea, a walk or outside or whatever is going to make you feel good.
