25.01.2022 Half Brothers Booking came about after conversations with my brother, Josh Cashman If you are a supporter of mine and of what we do, check out his newest clip and spread the word!
25.01.2022 Here at Half Brothers we are staunch supporters of EVERYONE in the music industry especially those that, due to who they are (race, gender, sexual orientation), are treated with unfair disadvantage. Thats why we will be running our annual Women in Blues jams this March with the Melbourne Blues Collective at the Rainbow Hotel in Fitzroy to prove once again that women are an absolute force to be reckoned with and deserve equal opportunity, rights, pay, support - and above all ...- are absolute bosses! Stay tuned for details VERY SOON, we promise you - each Sunday is filled with some of your favourites and some soon to be your favourites! Peace and much love Micky D #fuckthegendergap
25.01.2022 Tomorrow. Get on down

He will be sorely missed whenever we travel Gippsland way Much love Micky G ... will never be forgotten
20.01.2022 If youre a lover of music, chances are youve been on or heard of the iconic Blues Train Down at Queenscliff. Whether you can spare $10, $20 or more every little bit with be appreciated. The go fund me link is below. On it you can find a l...ist of items that your money will be going towards. https://www.gofundme.com/f/thebluestrain2020 Please share this around and lets get on board and help the train keep running while in hibernation like the rest of us.

20.01.2022 Gigs this weekend Jarrod Shaw at Hop Nation Sunday 2-5pm. 3 sets of brilliant blues music. Food available from the venue and drinks as always at the bar. https://facebook.com/events/577929792961667/?ti=ia
16.01.2022 The effect of the International pandemic that is the Coronavirus is hitting our home shores in a large way, especially the entertainment industry. Amazing events and shows, such as The Blues Train (see update from a blues Train founder, Hugo, attached) are now in a state of limbo surrounding current and future dates. What can you do to support us a question I have been asked often of late.... Well - most events, venues and acts have merch available - this is generally direct sales that increase bottom line without too much middle person costs involved. So that $25 on 3 beers at the pub you wont spend? Buy a CD THE $50 in food? Buy a T-Shirt! The Blues train is a Victorian icon the world over - jump on to their website https://www.thebluestrain.com.au and buy some merch ... click on their artist page and find a new fave artist to buy a CD off - support those that entertain you and support the operators that support those that do the entertaining!! PEACE, LOVE AND HEALTH Micky D

09.01.2022 Sorry guys, but our last instalment of the Women in Blues series is being put on the back burned in the wake of recent stipulations on social distancing. We tried everything we could with the crew from the Rainbow Fitzroy, however we just couldnt work out a workable solution for you with only a couple of days to get it done. BUT... In true Half Brothers fashion we have a bunch of ideas to make sure that the music industry - and in particular the HBB Family - keep on trucking along. So watch this space!!!!

01.01.2022 With all of the talk about the pandemic going on and covering our feeds, our tvs and just about every conversation being had, its just as important if not more so, to look after your mental health. Beyond blue are AMAZING and have some amazing advice here. Without mental health, your physical health cant be maintained.... Make sure you take time EVERY DAY to immerse yourself in something you love. Music Art A book Crap TV Cooking Gardening Your kids Anything. I worry about the rise in suicide, domestic violence and drug dependency rates rising as a result of the social isolation recommendations. Look after yourselves mentally first and foremost - its imperative! In a time of drastic negativity and darkness, afford yourself the right to positivity and light Much love Micky D
