23.01.2022 We’ve BIN recycling have you?? Cash for Containers is an initiative providing employment opportunities for young people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities. Halfpennys Lawyers has gotten involved and now it’s your turn! ... Down Syndrome Association NT are seeking businesses and homes who would be prepared to donate their cans and bottles to a local not-for-profit organisation. They will pick up your containers and deliver them to young people who are learning the skills of recycling and need a constant supply of cans/bottles to keep their program running. So what can you do? - Send them an email- [email protected] expressing your interest in their Cash for Containers Scheme - A Coordinator will then visit to provide you with collection crates and dates for collection - The team will clear your containers regularly and advise you of the next collection date. An integral and long standing member of the Halfpennys team, Cooper currently sits on the Northern Territory Football League Tribunal and is a member of the Northern Territory Women's Lawyers Association and the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association.
