25.01.2022 IT’S BEGINNING TO FEEL A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS Each year the Halikos Group get behind The Salvation Army NT and participate in their Christmas Appeal. All our divisions have been busy collecting toys and food over the past few weeks and we were able to deliver the goods to the Salvos Anula Centre.... We are so grateful to be able to help those less fortunate at such a special time of year and it’s amazing to see the generosity of our Halikos team grow each year. 23.01.2022 Carpentaria Stage 2 COMPLETED! Construction of Carpentaria Disability Services, Stage 2 of the Harry’s Place precinct has now been completed and was handed over Friday 29th May The project delivered a range of community, allied health, education, training and direct care services and incorporates a fully operational Administration Building.... Carpentaria Stage 2 will provide people with disabilities that are leaving school a pathway to further education and gives them an opportunity to develop essential skills to survive in everyday life. Currently there are no other service programs or buildings in Darwin that cater for this group of young people with disabilities. We are pleased to report the project ticked along very smoothly with no major disruptions or issues arising. We have received very positive feedback on our works and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Carpentaria Disability Services The Halikos Team is very proud to be a part of a project that provides much needed services to our Darwin Community

The students are learning about land changes in their class and Northcrest was the perfect development for them to undertake their fieldwork. The construction contract covers work to finalise design development and provision of the Phase 2 contract for the construction and fit-out of the new building.... 08.01.2022 Gold Lantern Ambassador Darwin Sam Lelekis from Halikos Hospitality is this year’s Gold Lantern Ambassador for the Northern Territory. Sam lost her brother Johnny in 2015 after a hard fight with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). Johnny had to leave his home in Darwin to travel to Adelaide for a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately he didn’t make it back home.... He was cancer free in 2014 at Christmas time, and we lost him in January, Sam said. It was a massive shock. He was just 44. Johnny was able to stay at the Leukaemia Foundation’s patient accommodation village in Adelaide for four weeks as he tried to recover from the transplant. His family are forever grateful and have been great supporters of the Leukaemia Foundation. "John provided me with a foundation of love to continue my own personal experience" Sam said. "Johnny inspires my every step, and I walk on because of him". Let's shine a light on blood cancer. 05.01.2022 Riding for the Disabled Community Open Day 2019 On the 20th October, the amazing Halikos Helping Hands team pitched in to volunteer at the Riding for the Disabled Community Open Day at Marlows Lagoon. A massive thank you to all the helpers for putting your hands up to volunteer and help out on the day! Riding for the Disabled in the Top End is a voluntary, non profit organisation which provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulati...ng, therapeutic, horse-related activities in Australia. The morning consisted of meeting all the horses and learning about their programs and even sponsoring a horse! Everyone enjoyed the BBQ food and relaxed in the shade and enjoyed the fun!

Carpentaria provides Disability and Therapy Services for children, adolescents and adults, through Supported Independent Living, Short Term Accommodation, Adult Day Service, Support Coordination and Allied Health therapy programs. The design is multi-purpose and this project will deliver a range of community, allied health, education, tra...ining and direct care services and incorporates a fully operational Administration Building. Stage Two comprises of three single storey buildings, a car park and an internal connecting road. The special use facility will incorporate: - An adult day service centre with recreation, vocational and education facilities; - Short term disability accommodation; and - Aged care respite accommodation. We are very proud to be a part of this project that will deliver much needed community infrastructure to Carpentaria and the Darwin community. Watch this space for more updates!

The Construction team had the hard task of cooking the BBQ on the day We are so proud to able to deliver projects like this to our community! The brand new $25 million home of local rugby league will provide first class sporting facilities to Territorians ... The stadium includes three full-sized fields with one to national standard, a grandstand with a 1200 seating capacity, four change rooms, corporate facilities, food and beverage facilities, car parking for approximately 600 cars and the flexibility to host other sporting events This project will deliver over 120 local jobs throughout the construction phase and much-needed stimulus to the economy. The new stadium will be a perfect facility for all NRL NT enthusiasts

01.01.2022 Halikos Construction has recently been awarded the Design and Construction of the New Nightcliff Police Station at John Stokes Square, Nightcliff. The New Nightcliff Police Station will be an iconic building, that is distinctly recognisable within the Nightcliff Shopping Precinct, to accommodate a total core staff of 100 personnel (70 initially) complete with all facilities to enable 24 hour Police operations which including public interactions. A general description of the ...scope includes: Site services; Car parking areas; Landscaping; Pathways and other associated works; Reception and foyer; Staff amenities; Offices; Interview rooms; Operational muster and briefing rooms; Secure storage; Security of staff and equipment; and Fully secured fencing around the perimeter of the vehicle parking areas. Halikos would like to thank local industry for their expressions of interest during our tender phase and we are currently negotiating subcontracts with those companies. However, there will still be ample opportunities for additional local engagement. Halikos is committed to maximising local participation on this project and will update our ICN landing page with project information and available opportunities for local industry in due course.
