25.01.2022 Lovely little lady Mia, is 8yrs old. She is now looking for her furrever home. Are you her hooman soul mate? Time in foster care has given Mia space to become quite a social little girl. She greets her carer at the door when they get home and tells them all about her day sleeping in the sun! Mia enjoys chin and ear scratches, a good massage patting session and snuggling up to her carer on the bed. She does have a little independent catitude streak though haha She has some weakness in her hind legs and although this doesn't stop her from enjoying life, she is very much a ground cat. Mia is a special needs cat as she is FIV positive so we are looking to find her the purrrfect hooman. If you feel this could be you please email [email protected] and [email protected] outlining your suitability.

21.01.2022 Ready for Adoption! (Special needs) This lovely little lady is 8yr old Mia. She is now looking for her furrever home. Are you her hooman soul mate? Mia is looking for a quiet lifestyle, as she can be a bit unsure of the big wide world and loud noises. She will need patience, time to adjust and gentle TLC from the new owner. She has some weakness in her hind legs and although this doesn't stop her from enjoying life, she is very much a ground cat. She enjoys chin and ear ...scratches and a good massage patting session but she does have a little independent catitude streak so don't try to smooch kiss her! She'll let you know pretty quick that's not on haha Due to the nature/reason of her coming to us, she is a special needs case, although she is low care. Mia is FIV positive so conditions will need to be met by the adopter, for the safety of Mia and any other cats. We would absolutely love Mia to go to her perfect furrever home so all potential adopters will have a consult discussion with our vet to outline her medical history & condition, her future needs and the suitability of the adopters home. If you feel you may be her furrever home please email [email protected] outlining your suitability. See more

14.01.2022 PLEASE READ: The safety and well-being of our team and our clients is our priority, so we would like to keep you updated as we work through what the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation means for our vet clinic. Thankfully we have not yet been directly affected, but it is of concern how this may affect us in the future and what measures may be needed. We are currently operating as normal, however as a small business if any of our team become affected we will be short sta...ffed and our ability to provide our normal services may become compromised. We are following the advice of the government to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We have implemented extra hygiene measures at the clinic but have a few requests of our clients. _________________________________________________ If you: - Have been overseas recently - Are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, etc.) - Have come in contact with anyone infected with COVID-19 Please refrain from coming into the clinic. _________________________________________________ If you are uncomfortable coming into the clinic to pick up food, medications, or to sit with your pet for an appointment, please call us ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate you. If you are able to use contactless methods of payment rather than cash, these would be greatly appreciated. Please limit the number of people attending the clinic with your pet for an appointment to just one person. If you have a pet healthcare concern please call the clinic on 8795 0000 and the nursing team will work out the best way to care for your pet. We've had some queries about coronaviruses and pets. Cats and dogs have their own forms of coronavirus which CANNOT be transmitted to humans. For more information on COVID-19 (coronavirus) and your pets, visit the Australian Veterinarian Association website at www.ava.com.au or the World Health Organization website at www.who.int

14.01.2022 Ready for adoption! Sweetheart central!! Domino is a gorgeously handsome 2yr desexed male looking for his furrever home. Could you be his one true love? His furrever home would be either as sole cat or potentially with a home that has a social, cat friendly, confident & calm cat whom he can learn confidence from. Dom is looking for a quiet lifestyle, as he is a little shy & unsure at first. He may need a couple of weeks, once in his new home, to adjust but once he does, he is alllllll over those chin & ear scratches His favourite thing to do is lounge in his bed and be fawned over by our very willing staff Head rubs and tail base scratches are also most definitely on the table as well. If you are interested in adopting Dom, you can contact the clinic on 8795 0000 or Louise at FurKids directly on: [email protected]
