16.01.2022 Finally got the new retaining wall and loading rails set up next to the mill. It's been sitting unused for a while, and there are some big local Blackwood, Pecan and Silky Oak logs waiting patiently to be unwrapped It's going to be nice to roll them from now on, rather than levering logs up by hand... Only a year to go and I'll having some stunning new bellows timber ready to go! 09.01.2022 It would have been a fantastic weekend for the Maleny Wood Expo... I was really looking forward to exhibiting there this year. I've performed there as a musician most years, but this was to be the first time I'd booked in as a woodworker. I was particularly looking forward to taking this pair of bellows out of the workshop for the first time, a set made from some muskwood we bought from local tree and timber legend Ashley Sewell, who is a major force behind the expo. So, here they are out of the workshop and in our living room. Will probably list them on the website soon, or may keep them here for a bit longer Thanks to all at Barung Landcare and Maleny Wood Expo for all the fantastic work you do.
