21.01.2022 Just had to share this photo taken by #MarliseWoodford last night.

20.01.2022 We believe Eurobodalla is the best place to holiday, but there's a time and place for everything - and unfortunately, with the current crisis, this is not the r...ight time for travelling to Eurobodalla. 30% of our population is over 65 and we simply don’t want our health systems strained with visitors during this time. Please heed all the safety measures from the Federal and State governments. We will be closing our Batemans Bay Visitor Information Centre from 5pm today 25 March. We will continue to provide you with inspiration on Eurobodalla for a future trip and look forward to having you visit once we are through this.

20.01.2022 Let's all make the most of this great opportunity of 'sharing the love' and book your accommodation with us today .

16.01.2022 Thanks Heidi & Marlise. We will stay in touch. The Taylor Family

15.01.2022 Eurobodalla moves back to Level 3 water restrictions today. Most outdoor water use is still banned because it will take several months and continuing rain to re...plenish our supply - the dam has only just hit 60 percent full. Gardeners can retire their watering cans and use a hand held hose for up to 60 minutes per day between either 6-8am or 6-8pm. Same applies to topping up your pool or spa. If you really must wash your car do it on the grass with buckets and a final rinse with trigger-nozzle hose. For all the dos and don'ts > www.esc.nsw.gov.au/water

14.01.2022 Beautiful photos from Sue Hutcheson.

12.01.2022 Never thought we'd ever say this but... TGI-Monday! Today is THE day you'll be able to take a holiday anywhere in #NewSouthWales (while social distancing, of ...course)! Swap your PJs for hiking gear and get off the couch! Now's the time to breathe new life into those saved Facebook posts and explore our incredible State, in the flesh. #LoveNSW See more

11.01.2022 It's Whale Time!

11.01.2022 It is with an enormous sense of relief that we can finally declare that all the fires that have impacted so heavily on the Far South Coast are now out. Over the... summer of 2019/20 the Clyde Mt, Araluen Rd, Badja, Postman’s Trail, Big Jack Mt, Werri Berri and Border fires have burnt through more than 635,000ha between them. Almost 1000 homes have been destroyed, lives have been lost and much of natural landscape will bear the scars for years to come. The tragic impact that these fires have had on livestock and native animals alike has been heartbreaking. Hopefully, finally being confident that these fires are completely extinguished will bring some closure to this phase of the event. We would like to acknowledge all of those involved in this mammoth effort but there are simply too many to list. Support has come from far and wide, from all levels of Government and from the international fire fighting community, but most importantly it has come from you the community we strive to protect. To see the way the community responded to our advice and warnings on the worst of days was a huge relief to those actively engaged in the fire fight. Any loss of life is tragic, but this event could have been so much worse. Many images like those below have been shared recently as they tell a story of a country that has evolved with fire, a country that has adapted to fire and a country that is resilient to the impacts of fire. Just as our natural environment has found different ways of recovering, we will too. It will be easier for some than others and it will look completely different for many, but just as we pulled together during those worst days I’m sure we can pull together again through the recovery process.
