We'd love you to come and join us, and enjoy each other's company, over a chat & a free sausage! Musician Jammers are welcome to hop up on stage, and play for 10 minutes each, with quick changeovers.

17.01.2022 Hi all Musicians & Music Loving Followers & Newcomers: You all are loyal participants of this marvelous event and are invited to attend this year, 26/27/28 October 2018. The event has evolved towards a smaller scale but it is more intimate, enabling everyone to have easier social connections. ... Halls Gap, being a small village, exudes a unique festival vibe. Short but free performances in the Hub Courtyard give the town an exciting touch, showcasing the delights to be enjoyed throughout all venues. Walking up & down the main street is a glorious ‘meet & greet’ experience. You don’t get this in a larger multi-street town.

The committee has been very pleased with the large response, from bands and musicians, who have registered for our 2018 festival.... 12.01.2022 Hi Jazz Lovers & Musicians Halls Gap will not be hosting a festival this year. The Halls Gap Jazz & Blues Festival will be in recess until some constraints are rectified.... One example - Lack of suitable indoor concert venues this year, Halls Gap being a small town. Number of bands would have been cut by nearly half. Another - Not enough current manpower. Halls Gap management team is now depleted of up to 30+ years of experienced knowledge running the Grampians Jazz Festival; due to both retirement of long serving workers, and ill health. This is a grim situation, albeit pending, given that the previous three October events have been financially and popularly successful and growing in number of participants.
