14.01.2022 A great field for the inaugural Dependable, Aussie, I Protect Golf Day. 90 players with awesome array of prizes, almost everyone went home with something. Unfor...tunately the $20000 hole in one prize didn’t go off. Overall winners were the team of Wayne Curtis, Sam Davis and Kelvin Duyker from Darren Armstrong, Donna and Terry Halpin. A big thanks to The Australian Hotel, Dependable Panel Works and I Protect Insurance Brokers for sponsoring the day. Sunday was the final round of the Great Northern 4 BBB Monthly. The winners were the team of Bevis Sullivan and Shireen Tooley. Look forward to seeing everyone for our open Carnival next weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. HOW GOOD IS 3 DAYS OF GOLF!!!! 08.01.2022 Another great weekend of golf. 40 players Saturday for the preliminary final of the Vanderfield Shield. The winner was Ross Brimblecombe from Brian May. A big ...welcome to past members John Dowling and Chris Goodwin who returned for the day with a group of players from Toowoomba. In the Shield the President was too good for the Captain and will now play the Treasurer in next months final. Thanks again Vanderfield for their support. Sunday it was the clubs Foursomes Championships. In the ladies Kym Webster and Virginia Jamison had a comfortable win over Penny Albeck and Kay Coutts. Ron Hohn and Andrew Lyons won the men’s Championship from Richard Lomman and Tommy Siddins. Thanks to Halpin Motors and St George News agency for their support. AB&C Speed Nett winners.
