24.01.2022 Girl Guides Queensland - Thinking Day Church Parade and Celebrations!!! Saint Mary's Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point has a historical connection to Scouting and Guiding and so invite us to attend a service with them.

23.01.2022 Fun at Gumnut Guides! We celebrated 29th February by earning the Upside Down, Back to Front Challenge! Our meeting was back to front, we played Unmusical Chairs, read our names backward and made Upside Down Pineapple Cupcakes! A great meeting!!!!

19.01.2022 Until further notice, all our Girl Guide units are communicating via post, email or skype instead of face-to-face meetings. It's a different way of doing Guiding but for girls who are unable to attend regular Guide meetings due to distance, health or other commitments, this is a normal way for them to be a Girl Guide! They are called Lones Guides and are in units with girls from all across Queensland and sometimes even overseas! :D

16.01.2022 Our Brownie Guides at Home meetings are going well, with computer, numbers and cooking badges being earned as well as others being worked on. All Guides will, we hope, be taking part in the Anzac Day activity. The Guide Unit are trying Meeting on line and via email, and the Gumnut Guides get Gumnuts in an envelope . We are also starting a Ranger Guide Unit which will we hope meet via ZOOM or messenger. If you would like to join us, please contact us and we will get back to you.

They are meeting via ZOOM at the moment, and are getting to know each other and their two Leaders. Remember, you don't have to have been a Guide to join in the fun, Guiding is for all girls and women of all ages!

05.01.2022 Hello! We have units in our district for girls aged 5-18years. Through a range of age appropriate activities, girls are able to develop friendships, skills and interests, life skills, self confidence, and more!! Activities (indoor and outdoor) include craft, games, music, science, cooking, camping, adventures, adventurous activities... (the list goes on!)... We currently have girls from many different schools which means they are able to connect with friends outside of school in a fun, safe environment where there's lots of laughter and a bit of craziness! 01.01.2022 In the past few weeks, our Gumnut Guides went on an adventure, our Brownie Guides had a day camp, our Guides had a sleepover and our Ranger Guides went tenpin bowling. Some units have one more week of Guiding fun to go!

01.01.2022 Term four starts today for our wonderful Guide Unit, there are 18 guides and the Unit is run by two great Leaders and two Junior Leaders. The Ranger Guides are back tomorrow (7th Oct) they also have two leaders and 5 girls. Brownie Guides are back on Thursday and the Gumnut Guides are back on Saturday. We all look forward to a wonderful term!
