20.01.2022 This Saturday at 9:30am, we thought wed be playing at the cenotaph, but stage 3 restrictions mean that we will be in our driveways in various streets around Hamilton (and Warrnambool) playing the lament VP75 - Lest We Forget. This tune pays tribute to Australian men and women who served in World War Two. This Saturday, August 15th 2020 is a special commemoration. Hundreds of Australian pipers and drummers will be joined by musicians from across North America for the 9:30am performance of VP 75. The tune was specially commissioned by Pipe Bands Australia and written by Melbourne composer Mark Saul for the 75th anniversary of the end of World War Two. These performances allow us to make meaningful contribution to community on this special anniversary when we will remember the sacrifices of earlier generations.
