20.01.2022 The members of H C C were sad to see the removal of a very large old Oak Tree. The tree stood in the corner near the front gate, it greeted us as we arrived at the club. The Oak Tree had become a hazard as limbs had fallen due to decay & could have caused more damage. H C C was very thankful to receive a grant from Southern Grampians Shire Council for the tree removal. Woodrowe Tree Technicians performed a very efficient removal. Thank you to all concerned.

This is part of a $40m allocation the Government has made to support sporting organisations at club, local association and state level. ... Croquet Victoria has been looking at a deficit on its running costs of about $66,000, as a result of reduced income from investments and activities, and a discount of 50% for members on affiliation fees. Thanks to Kate Patrick, Sarina Cevaal-Hewitt and Claire Keating for their work on the submission.
