The Hamilton Spectator were very generous with their coverage of Saturdays Market with both pictures and written articles, so a BIG thank you to the Spec if you havent bought the Spec yet, better go out and buy it, yo7 May have your photo in it!

25.01.2022 Beautiful moth spotted in the Hamilton Parklands Bandicoot Enclosure today. Looked like a butterfly when flying, but tucked its wings down into the moth formation when resting. Phalaenoides glycinae, Australian Grapevine Moth.

18.01.2022 CALLING ALL SCRAPPERS! This will be our first ever Simply Scrapbooking Meet. If youre anything like me you have hundreds of photos to scrapbook but seem to ha...ve no time or space to do it. Well make some time for yourself once a month and join us for an afternoon of interrupted scrap booking/crafting time. Stay the full 4 hours or come and go as you please. COST: $5 cash on arrival per person to cover the cost of the venue WHEN: The first Sunday of every month from 1pm - 5pm WHERE: Art room at HIRL BRING: Your scrap booking or craft projects and any supplies or tools you need, BRING: A small plate of food for afternoon tea to share BRING: Any papers, embellishments etc that you no longer want to put in a swap box. One persons trash could be another ones treasure. PROVIDED: Bottomless tea and coffee, plenty of table space, music, a peaceful environment and the company of like minded creatives. Please share with your scrapping and crafty friends, the more the merrier. Feel free to ask any questions and offer suggestions being our first ever meet.
