18.01.2022 The Lake Hamilton Spillway is in full force today as yesterday's rain event makes it's way down the Grangeburn River. Powerful but quite hypnotic!

18.01.2022 Today there are flood watches and minor flood warnings in central and north east Victoria. There are no flood levels established around Hamilton so the only warning available here is a flood watch. There has not been enough rain here for a flood watch.

Flooding from Bryan Creek has been impacting Coleraine - a number of buildings have been threatened by floodwater but the threat is reducing. 08.01.2022 Looks like this guy peaked over night - only up about 6 -8 inches on levee at Holden St Hamilton. Casterton and Coleraine are still being monitored. Photos at 7:30 this morning. Overnight crews going to bed now

04.01.2022 Heavy rain in NSW a few weeks ago flooded a bridge crossing. How could the driver have any idea what was under this dirty flood water. Has the bridge washed out? Are there trees or rocks under the water? Water from an overflowed septic tank? NEVER enter flood water.
