24.01.2022 Some of the students in GAP this week participated in games based on cooperation, communication and sharing. One of the games required partners to balance the chopstick on one finger and move around the room without dropping it. Another game was 'pass the parcel' which had a personal strength card wrapped in each layer that students had to give real life examples for when it was their turn.

14.01.2022 Our gr5 art extension students used an iridescent artist's medium to create the Milky Way and millions of stars in their night sky this week.

09.01.2022 The Preps used watercolour paints to create their own free expression paintings in the artroom this week. They were all so focused and motivated to finish their creations before the end of the lesson!

05.01.2022 These are a few of the gorgeous paintings created by the gr 5 art extension students during the lunchtime workshops. The students used ink pens to draw the trees this week to complete their paintings. Look out for their photo in the Hamilton Spectator.

02.01.2022 This week in the artroom students created their bird artwork inspired by Matt Spink's book. The task was to draw an outline of a bird and then draw geometric and zentangle designs within the body of the bird. Oil pastels or textas were then used to colour their work.
