21.01.2022 Get ready for a new rooftop bar in #CentralGeelong. The 90-year-old iconic National Mutual Building on the cnr of Malop & Moorabool is being reinvented. The project is a partnership with Bill Votsaris. Together we collaborated with architect Tarryn Joyce and the planning & heritage teams at the City of Greater Geelong to design a celebration of both history and our role as a UNESCO #CityofDesign. The project is planned to open mid-2021. Stay tuned.

21.01.2022 We remain hopeful that we will be given approval to continue our proven investment in North Geelong with our employment hub proposal below. However, given the uncertainty and lengthy process, we've had to develop a low-risk alternative if our project is blocked. It would be a shame for North Geelong to miss out on a real opportunity to make a difference.

21.01.2022 We believe Geelong deserves better. However, the Planning Minister is set to decide whether our preferred employment hub project is approved or blocked. Given the uncertainty, we've needed to develop an alternative if our original plans are blocked - the site cannot be left empty. It's not pretty, but our objectors who say they need the site won't tell us what for, so we're left with these concrete sheds low-risk backup. It's been a bruising, expensive battle over 2 years and we have fought hard to give the right outcome its best shot. For the sake of waterfront, Osborne House, North Geelong and an economy in crisis; we hope that sense prevails and we are able to continue our proven investment in employment generating sites like the neighbouring Federal Mills, not have to revert to concrete sheds.
