15.01.2022 On our way to Hamilton Island! How exciting!!! Travelled from Shute Harbour via Whitsunday Cruise. Of course you can fly straight to Hamilton Island from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane but this time we had a little stopover in Airlie first. Waited at the cafe for 20 minutes for ferry departure. Yummy ice cream! Can't wait to get to Hammo (as the lucky locals call it!!!)

12.01.2022 The wait is nearly over! Our new IGA store will have its Grand Opening to the public on the 1st of August at 8am. Opening hours will be from 8am until 7.30pm d...aily. IGA Bowen deliveries will cease on Wednesday 26th July and the Bottle shop will trade in its current location until the 31st of July, before reopening in its new space on the 1st of August. Weekly IGA specials catalogues will be available in store. Be sure to BYO bags as the store will be plastic carry bag free, IGA cloth bags will be available for purchase for 99 cents. 01.01.2022 Lunch at the Reefview restaurant on Hamilton Island is lots of fun for kids and relaxing for mums and dads. Parents can sit in the shade of the restaurant enjoying a beverage whilst supervising their kids in the pool. The pool is solar heated so even nice in the cooler winter months. Inexpensive kids menu and tasty adults menu. Your only dilemma will be stopping them from hogging the pool noodles. Apparently one is never enough!
