08.01.2022 Honoured to receive the feedback from a bushfire victim. "We stayed here last weekend and fleeing the fires in Narooma. When we arrived Jag, I'm assuming the owner, offered us a discounted rate due to the circumstances. We had our two year old with us and we're absolutely exhausted after spending the last week locked in Narooma with no way to leave. After arriving the owner ordered our pizza and went in his own vehical to pick up our pizza and under charged us for that as wel...l because he could see we were at the end of ourselves and wanted to help. I can't speak highly enough of his genuine care and help he have us, it was like a going to a family members home. The room was clean and well equipped and the cleaners did a great job in the mornings. There was many choices of viewing from Stan, Netflix,YouTube and cable tv to watch. I've travelled extensively and stayed in all sorts of accom. I've never experienced this sort care before. Thank you guys for looking after us when we needed it. 04.01.2022 Thanks to Steve Evans from The Canberra Times for including us in his coverage. Alas! families have lost their entire properties and have been evacuated for a safer shelter. Spoken to number of families who have been staying with us at Hamilton's Queanbeyan Motel and was told that their houses and animals are on fire. One of the mothers said, she has been living in her house for last 35 years and had a lot of memories but everything is in ashes now. Lot of the other families who were on holidays in Canberra and NSW region were evacuated, some drove up to nine hours with young kids to find a safe place. May God bless a safe New Year 2020 to everyone.
