24.01.2022 Hi everyone, in case you feel like supporting some virtual racing for our isolated friends in Melbourne...

23.01.2022 As South East Queenland is being affected by the latest COVID-19 cases if you are attending tomorrows Individual Time Trial Series or any club racing event plea...se ensure that you are well. DO NOT ATTEND: - If you have any symptoms or feel unwell - If you have been in direct contact with a known case of Covid-19 within the last 14 days - If you are high health risk (e.g. due to age or pre-existing medical conditions) - Travelled internationally recently - Travelled to a Covid-19 declared hotspot At the all events throughout Queensland please follow all the COVID-19 information that has been supplied by Cycling Queensland and/or your club.

16.01.2022 Entries are now open for next week's James Eckersley Junior Classic -Saturday 1st August. After the junior races we will have senior racing in our normal grades. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are trialling an online entry entry system via buncheur.com. This makes it safer, with a lot less interactions between riders and volunteers, and means we don't have to handle cash. Each rider will need to first create an account (for families, you must use a seperate email for each ri...der), then you can select your grade and make your payment. Costs are $6 for juniors and $12 for seniors - the extra amount is to cover credit card fees. Buncheur gradings only run A through E, so please read the notes carefully and enter the correct grade based on your current Hamilton Grading. If you enter in the wrong grade you will be automatically moved. Juniors U17 and younger must race in the Junior grades, not the later senior grades. Entries close Friday evening 6pm. If you know someone who is not great with online stuff please offer to help them or get in contact with us and we can assist. https://www.buncheur.com/hamilton-pine-rivers-wheelers-cc-j See more

01.01.2022 One of Queensland‘s toughest and most prestigious day races, The Cunningham Classic is a race that should be on everyone’s bucket list. Given this race starts in Gatton and ends in Warwick, it’s traditionally been rather challenging logistically for those trying to coordinate transport options there and back, but not this year! For the first time, our good mate Adam Baker from BelBaker Bus Charters is offering us a fully chartered, there-and-back coach and trailer for you (an...d your bike) for the entire day of the Cunningham Classic... All at cost price! That is, a mere $50/rider! Of course those not able to race but still wanting to feel and witness the action, you are more than welcome to come along, spectate and cheer on your clubmates too. In fact you are strongly encouraged to do so! Or, why not make a day of it and bring your wife/husband/spouse/significant other/child/dog etc.? Indicative costs for spectators ~$30pp. After the racing finishes in Warwick, we intend heading to a local bar/bistro for lunch, a couple of drinks (details TBC) - and hopefully we'll be celebrating and bragging about all our conquests! This offer is open to anyone, not just our club members. One of Queensland‘s toughest and most prestigious day races, The Cunningham Classic is a race that should be on everyone’s bucket list.
