16.01.2022 A little bit about doorways... Yes, these are staying the way they are... I have spent hours unpainting them, why? These are the original doorways, they have 80 odd years of history. ... They are where I love yous have been said when kids were tucked in at night, walked through when mum was needed in the middle of the night. Doorways are where you welcome people in and where you say your goodbyes. They have been walked through by those that are here and those that have passed. They are where you track how much the kids have grown. Where doors are slammed when you have the shits and where you can close the door to just be yourself. They welcome new life and they are passed through when mourning one. Yes we could have painted them to disappear and look shiny and new... but theyre not. They have so many stories to tell and many more memories to hold.

16.01.2022 Well, here she is... well almost! You will have to wait another day for the bathroom but you have been ever so patient in waiting! This has been an extra special project for us. For those of you that dont know this is my Mother In Laws home. She has lived here for 42yrs, she lost her husband here and raised her 5 kids on her own. This is her HOME. Its the house where the kids threw endless parties and was there place to be. Everyone loves coming here and loved seeing Bev.... The thought of losing this place was just not on the cards for us. It was in such a state but nothing that we couldnt overcome... we hope you love the final result as much as Bev does

The other will be done to match but I just couldnt resist showing you the end result . Finished in Autentico Paint nearly black and dark brown wax with walnut stain.... I actually struggled for a bit deciding the right look for this revamp however I do have a love for British Colonial style and so this is my take on that. Rhys and Scotty from Vanderhel Building have almost finished the framing and and the boys from BHE, Ben Hagney Electrical are hooking in to get the electrical rough in and power box upgrade completed. New wiring will ensure this grand old lady is up to safety standards and ready for her new life.

This bad boy was gifted to us by another beautiful follower of our page and oh my... the THICK layers of paint certainly had a story to tell and with a lot of my pieces I like to keep a bit of its history. These gorgeous little side tables were ready for a revamp and our favourite paper was the perfect response to that... our beautiful customer Steph is thrilled We created a black faux marble top to add to the lux look using the fabulous Autentico Nearly Black, Lava and Gris with a tiny hint of Morpeth Mustard. The base is in Vert Anglaise... perfect combo

These gorgeous commission pieces were Beths mums, she needed them to fit in with her new interior and was after a colourful boho look. Using Autentico Paint in Plum, Morpeth Mustard, Ruby, Sailors Blue, Bright Green and Byzantine and the gorgeous copper powders, she is in LOVE with the final results
