20.01.2022 Hello Gippy MX Families, we trust this finds you all well under these trying circumstances. We have had a few enquiries recently, wanting to know if our 1st rou...nd is still commencing end of this month and the answer is NO, those dates were originally proposed and confirmed by clubs earlier in the year and of course, in March the world came to a stand still due to COVID19 whereas, we then went into lock down with events cancelled or postponed until further notice. When restrictions were looking to be eased, MX Management released a set of new dates early June for Snr & Jnr Vics, The Nationals and then the Regions thus meaning us, whereas our 1st Round should be commencing on July 25th & 26th, however, as we still await confirmation from MA/MV as they are the State Controlling Bodies along with clarification from the Government, it is out of our hands as to when we get the green light to commence official competition. We understand this is quite frustrating for not only yourselves, but also us as a Panel, as we, just like you, we want to get this show on the road, but in the interim, we have to sit tight hence, we will advise at our earliest, once a decision has been confirmed. 18.01.2022 Good evening members and supporters.. We were hoping this post tonight would be an exciting announcement of when we were opening again to our dedicated members... and other supporters .... BUT.. unfortunately our committee meeting tonight at the club was dampened by the fact that upon attending the track we had found the canteen and shed had been broken into and robbed!!! To say that we are upset and disappointed is an understatement!! This year has been very testing and trying for everyone as it is and to come to our club that we all have put so much time and energy into and to find our canteen stock, first aid equipment and other miscellaneous items have been stolen is just devasting! To the low life’s who let themselves into our facilities and have stolen our items we have footage of you and it will be investigated by the police...we also do not appreciate people breaking into the track and using it for their own personal use when no one else is able to ride the track when they have paid for it!!!.. We as a club are fed up with this behaviour and will be following up all leads if anyone knows anything ...so please speak up!!! If anyone out there may know about the people riding at the track or breaking into the club rooms please contact us or Traralgon police with any information and put a stop the the rising crime throughout our region! .....On a lighter note we are looking at opening the track in the next few weeks we just need to get some work done to the rooms and the track and will organise small group days for our club members as per covid guidelines and when metro and regional can all be free again we will have a surprise for our amazing 2020 members to say thank you for your patience this year!! This role will be mu...lti purpose, not just sitting at the counter ! Daily tasks will include: * Selling spare parts and accessories for all types of motorcycles, ATVs & SXS. * Processing retail customer and workshop orders * Preparation of goods for sale and display, and keeping up all stock levels. * Handling cash, and general admin as required. We want to hear from you if you : * Have a passion for motorcycles, * Have strong retail sales and customer service skills, * Are Physically fit, as you'll be lifting and moving all day long, * Have excellent computer skills, * Have a current drivers licence, * and are able to work on Saturdays when required.
