Back when we could all travel overseas a lovely couple and regulars of Hampden Deli @stevgavriloska @s_markgoodwin brought back speciality canele trays from #France for us to recreate for them! They are a delicious rum and vanilla #pastry with a set custard consistency and always dark golden caramelized outside. 15.01.2022 Happy International Women's Day! A big shout out to all those fellow female business owners and managers out there! #ChoosetoChallenge Today at the wonderful #iwd2021 Lunch at the beautiful @bangalaydining hosted by the incredible Kate and her team @worklife.org.au we were asked to share something we want known about us. And I struggled! ... As I write this, I am 39 weeks pregnant with our first child, naive to the bliss and challenges that lay ahead. Already though, the juggling act between my roles as business owner and mother have begun and I am on this side of it in awe of the women already doing it! The @classicagendaheroes Publication was launched this weekend and it is an incredible collection of Australian women's accounts in the wake of the Australian Bushfires. It's taught me when women are faced with challenges we dig deep and draw upon a resourcefulness rooted in compassion. Something I'll be sure to draw upon in this next private and personal chapter birthing our baby! Thanks to all the wonderful women I met today, thank you for sharing your stories. And to all the women in our lives cheers to you today and every other day for keeping our communities threaded together!
