25.01.2022 Today we had a visit from Born to Smile Dental service who provided the children with an educational lesson on how and when to brush their teeth and then had their teeth checked and cleaned. The children were also given a little gift which was a toothpaste, stickers and a new tooth brush so they would practice brushing their own teeth.

24.01.2022 This morning the children were treated to some fun entertainment with a movie marathon to be watched along with some pop corn to enjoy and activities set up in the other room for the children that were interested to play. We also ordered some pizzas to enjoy for lunch.

22.01.2022 It was a lovely morning to celebrate friendship day with our friends in the Joeys's and Kangaroos room as they got together to play with some amazing friendship activities set up for them outside. The children have build on their wonderful friendship throughout the year leaning to share, communicate and play with them with a positive manner.

20.01.2022 Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New year was celebrated right here at Hampton Cottage, as part of the celebration the children were involved in playing with many fun activities that were surround the room.

15.01.2022 A lovely day this morning with all the children playing with some wonderful activates to celebrate the Moon Festival this weekend. The children learnt more about the Chinese and Vietnamese culture and fun they had through the activates provided as they were able to enjoy with their friends

15.01.2022 Each child had an engaging, hands-on experience of the sights, sounds, smells and touches of the farm. This supportive active environment encourages children's engagements in learning. Children were encouraged to communicate their feeling, thoughts and ideas during the visit. Children also learnt to interact with care, empathy and respect.

15.01.2022 Today the children were showing love and friendship as we celebrated Valentine's Day together with lots of fun activities that the children could make for their friends or family members at home.

14.01.2022 We celebrated Harmony day with many culture experiences set up for the children to explore and learn. Families and educators brought in a dish from their culture and Children were dressed up into their traditional clothing to show their wonderful cultures.

13.01.2022 What an amazing day it was for the children, today was they all came dressed up as their favorite superhero or princess wearing captain america, princess Elsa, iron man, batman, super girl and so much more. The children were excited to be part of this special event as we shared the day outdoors with music playing and many activities set up such as collaging mask, painting butterflies, getting their face painted and finishing of the morning eating some delicious hamburgers.

13.01.2022 What a wonderful day we had today, with all the amazing activities, games and food set out for the children and families that were delighted to join in the fun Easter celebrations. There we’re so many great things the children and their families could do such as, making cards, find eggs, face paint, sack and egg race, pin the tale of the donkey while after we had a Easter hat parade, got to hit the piñata and go on a Easter egg hunt.

10.01.2022 Its a exciting day for the children going to school next year, today they visited Fairvale public school were they got to experience a school that they will attend next year. The teacher showed up around the school and gave as an amazing tour of all the things the children needed to know to start school next year.

09.01.2022 Today at Hampton Cottage we celebrated the diversity of many cultures in our center as the children came in their cultural clothing and we tasted different cultural foods.

09.01.2022 This morning we had a wonderful mother's day breakfast with many activities and experiences set up for mother's and their children to participate in and finished the morning off with a lovely breakfast.

08.01.2022 This week children took part in various of activities that represented the Australian Indigenous culture, as children played with the many experiences they were able to explore, discover and investigated while also understanding of the world they live in.

08.01.2022 Today the children celebrated Halloween by dressing up in their favorite Halloween costumes some coming as a skeleton, pirates, witches, vampires and so much more. The children joined up outside were it was set up very festive for the children to feel the Halloween celebration and while the spooky music played in the background, the children explored the amazing Halloween activities and experiences set up for everyone to join in.

06.01.2022 Today was a very special day for all the children at Hampton Cottage childcare as Santa was going to visit our centre today to hand out all the present to all the children. But before Santa arrives at the centre all the children were able to play around with many fun activities set up around the room to put all the children into the Christmas spirit.

02.01.2022 The children celebrated Easter with fun Easter activities, a easter egg hunt, a hat parade and enjoying a morning brunch.

01.01.2022 On Friday we celebrate the mid autumn moon festival with fun activities including making lanterns, play dough moon cakes, face painting, traditional dress ups and much more. We then finished off the morning enjoying some cultural food and eating with our friends.
