24.01.2022 Looking forward to getting our new sheep handling gear this week. Thanks to Phil Thompson for introducing us to Offsider Agricultural Equipment National Australian White Sheep Society - NAWSS #easycaresheep #lowstresshandling
21.01.2022 It looks like Louis will be glad of some male company... the girls keep shirking him, so he sits on the fence chatting with the the other studs (Mac and #37). won't be long mate... your job is done by the looks!
21.01.2022 We’re loving the warmer weather. You can almost hear the pastures growing! Yesterday we moved the electric fence which was holding the maidens and wethers. Still trying the rest the pastures that took a beating last summer
17.01.2022 Looking forward to seeing these little men at the 2021 National Australian White Sheep Society - NAWSS show. In the Pairs category.

13.01.2022 So i think we can consider the natural habitat/windbreak a success. Pesky sou’westers...
12.01.2022 Thanks so much to Phil and Judi, from The Cliffs Australian White Stud, for bringing our new handler and yards hardware, all the way from Molong! There were some major Meccano moments when trying to put the drafter together . A great afternoon of problem solving, cooperation and #collaboration with fellow NAWSS members. 12.01.2022 The boys are starting to shed well, now that we are getting some warm weather
12.01.2022 Just chillin’
10.01.2022 A great result for Baringa Studs and their sister stud Seriston. We purchased a stud ram at this auction and look forward to including him in our Baringa blood-line breeding program.

07.01.2022 Mmmmm, I do love my morning scratch... National Australian White Sheep Society - NAWSS
07.01.2022 One of our last few 2019 rams headed up the road today. HSP190070 was pretty pleased to meet his new family, in Rydal. He’ll be helping to improve the shedding ability of this flock of Ultra White ewes
05.01.2022 Pretty happy with our mixed native pasture areas!
02.01.2022 Our maiden ewes and wethers are starting to shed nicely. Although I think some of them might wish they’d waited until after this weekend
02.01.2022 Preserving and planting extra floral resources can help support our native pollinators, predators, and parasitoids. This in turn provides services to agricultural, horticultural and biodiverse systems.
01.01.2022 Rabbit and I went out thistle chippin’ today. There’s nothing like walking through the paddocks and getting up close and personal with your pasture plants. Our hard work is paying off. Lime, compost, hand seeding, adding fences (3 paddocks are now 9), and resting paddocks. Of course the rains have help ENORMOUSLY. The diversity on this land is incredible. Yes we have some rubbish (sweet vernal, thistle, a bit of mustard weed and Patterson’s curse) but we also have grasses such as kangaroo, wallaby (several species), spear, rye, cocksfoot, phalaris, tall fescue and yorkshire fog. As well as several clovers and medics. A most pleasant, if not tiring, day with my shaddow
