World Dachshund Day was created to raise awareness of the breed, to help preserve its future, and to help reduce the number of dachshunds requiring rehoming. There are events being held all round the country, so you are bound to see a collection of sausages where you are!!

21.01.2022 I know...it's been ages since I wrote. Is it just me, or has the year flown past so quickly for you too? As you know, we moved here a couple of years ago and I have completely removed every plant that was in the garden. So now, I'm finally adding them back in. It takes time and hard work, but I'm getting there. It has also taken me away from the sewing machine, but, I'm getting there with that too! My recent creation was this little cosmetic "pod" that has so many uses - i made this one for a dear friend. Added some chocolate, a pair of funky socks...and voila!! She loved it. Hope you do too!
