23.01.2022 Club Permits for Financial Members Only Note to members Recently published minutes of the September General Meeting (via Zoom) Refer, under General Business, to a statement by Graeme Ralph regarding unfinancial members. Part of this statement could lead to confusion regarding club permits. Please note that unfinancial members are not entitled to the privilege of using their club permit vehicle until they become financial (by paying the appropriate membership fee) Meanwhile..., the rules still apply whereby we must advise Vicroads of members who are unfinancial (fees not paid by 30th September 2020) and have a vehicle on a club permit. The permit for such vehicle is thus cancelled and can only become effective by the member becoming financial and following the complete procedure for a new permit including obtaining a roadworthy certificate and paying all relevant fees. Membership fees were due by 31st August 2020. Treasurer John Barke has sent out reminders to all members who have not paid on time. See more
