23.01.2022 Not even COVID-19 could take away from the Skins Final at Woodford Golf Club Inc on Saturday 11th July 2020. Only 7 shots between all 4 finalists and they all received a good share of the $1,200 prize money on offer. 19.01.2022 Hurstville Golf Course Handiskins $1,200 Final Results: A nice sunny day with chilling winds greeted our finalist but that could dampen their spirit. A close competition with three of the finalists playing off a handicap of 9 and one off 18. Plenty of nervous putts missed but at the end of the day Danny Rothwell just got over the line winning $435 from Lloyd Piper $415, Matt Abel $235 and Jimmy White $115. 18.01.2022 ***Statement from Handiskins Director Paul Edwards*** It is with a heavy heart that today I advise you that the 2020 Handiskins Championship week 29th April - 3rd May has been cancelled. COVID-19 or commonly known as Coronavirus has sadly taken its toll on many sporting events and now the Handiskins National Final, ProHandiskins The Jarrod Lyle Memorial Trophy and the Peter Lehmann Wines Golf Challenge have been impacted. I have received many emails and phone calls in the pas...t week from finalists looking forward to getting to the Gold Coast and enjoying some fun times in the fresh air, which is in stark contrast to the reality of the current everyday doom and gloom we wake up to. However, with recent Government and medical association advice your health and well-being is of upmost importance to us and we don't take this decision lightly. Unfortunately the climate of fear and uncertainty posed by the Global Pandemic has now reached a tipping point, and as such we needed to make the call now to avoid any further headaches and disappointment as this crisis inevitably deepens in the coming weeks. For those of you who know me I am devastated by what has happened, which is out of everyone's control. I am more than happy to take your calls to discuss any questions you may have on the matter, and you can contact me directly to discuss. For your information and convenience I have outlined a number of answers to likely questions on how we wish to proceed from here: *** What's happening to my invitation to play at the Handiskins National Championship Week? *** All attendees booked to play at the 2020 Handiskins Championship Week will now have their invitation extended to attend the 2021 event scheduled from 28 April - 2 May 2021 at RACV Royal Pines. *** What happens to my booking for 2020? *** Your booking has been automatically rebooked and credited for the 2021 Handiskins National Championships Week scheduled at RACV Royal Pines Resort 28 April - 2 May 2021. This booking will guarantee your package price for next year at this year's rates. If you would prefer to cancel the booking, please email me back before 31 March 2020 to arrange a full refund of monies paid on your package. Any cancellation request received after 31 March 2020 will forfeit their $200 deposit. *** Why didn't we reschedule to later in 2020? *** The longevity and broader impact of the COVID-19 crisis is impossible to predict, and the timeline for when we could confidently and conveniently reschedule all parties is just not feasible. In some positive news Handiskins is finalising a further 3 year deal with RACV Royal Pines Resort to host our Championship Week. 18.01.2022 Parkes Golf Club Handiskins Final Results 2020. We seen a past National Champion from Parkes Golf Club return to the $1,200 final with great success. 78 year old Ian Phipps was the highest money winner with $460 and has sounded a warning to all others heading to next years National Final. Ian will be 79 next year and said he is looking forward to getting up to RACV Royal Pines on the Gold Coast for another hit at a National Championship. Michael Thomas was next with $400 from Richard Hamilton $180 and Riall Harrison $160. 18.01.2022 Handiskins is the shot in the arm that golf clubs need coming out of COVID-19. Glenelg Golf Club had the 1st round of their Handiskins competition on Saturday 16th May and registered over 80 players. This result gets them a $1,200 final and 2 dozen bottles of Peter Lehmann Wine for signing up over 75 players. Just recently Bundaberg Golf Club- Bundaberg Golf Course started their Handiskins Competition and signed up over 70 members to their Handiskins competition. Proving members are looking for something exciting to launch them back into playing golf.

17.01.2022 NORFOLK ISLAND GOLF CLUB $1,200 Handiskins Final Results. New to Handiskins Norfolk Island Golf Club held their 1st Handiskins Competition this year and what an interesting Final. The last 7 holes were drawn and the $540 Jackpot was split between the 4 finalists. In the end Richie Cottle finished on top winning $370 from Jared Magi and Brendon Christian both winning $310 and Arthur Keeping winning $210. 13.01.2022 Some good news in light of all the bad. Rockingham Golf Club in Perth had their 1st Handiskins competition this year. They had their $1,200 final last weekend and club spokeswoman Margie Harris said it was an exciting day. There is a lot of members looking forward to our next one. Results from the day saw Johannes Schoonbee pocket $540 of the $1,200 on offer. Father and son combination Stephen Quinn $300 and Dean Quinn $200 came next and Anthony Joyce $160. 08.01.2022 The Future of Handiskins During this period of chaos with COVID-19 it has allowed people to sit back and have a good think about life in general and the future. I have been asked on several occasions how does Handiskins make money? I have never spent too much time worrying about this as we are still in the building stage.... Whilst we are not making millions out of it we are making money. I like everyone else have had time to ponder - where is the world heading and after some long mindless moments I am happy with where I am. Not all businesses need to be overflowing with cash to be successful. Handiskins riches comes from the joy average golfer get from this competition, the smiles on peoples faces and the comments that this competition is professionally run and the best. It is a testament to the team behind Handiskins that they really love the work they do and the competition they provide to Golf Clubs and their members. 08.01.2022 Handiskins Keeps breaking records. Numbers playing Handiskins are well up in 2020 and another club has just provide it again. Blackwood Golf Club in South Australia started with Handiskins in 2019 and yesterday held the first round of their 2020 competition with an increase of more than 30% and 86 members signing up to play Handiskins. This has been a great trend during a year from hell with Covid-19. A competition lifting spirits and giving a much needed boost to Golf Clubs. #golf #golfers #golfclubs

07.01.2022 In these unprecedented times we live in one golf club has decided to start their Handiskins competition to hive their members something exciting to play for. Queensland Club Bundaberg Golf Club starts their first round this Saturday. They are adhering to social distancing regulations and only playing in 2’s but club captain David Obst said the members are looking forward to have something to play for each week. All day these 4 guys played some good golf and shared the prize money around between them Harry Schuster eventually came out on top thanks to a $180 jackpot hole and finishing with $400.
