16.01.2022 The Melbourne Headache Clinic proved how effective PR is compared to advertising. As a new business with a very specific offering they needed to get the word out and explain to prospective clients what they do. Not something they could do effectively through advertising with a small budget. With their first PR campaign they got a story in the Herald Sun and were featured on 3AW and the channel 7, 10 and 9 evening news. For the three hours following the news they received one ...hit per minute on their website and booked seven months worth of appointments and new clients. Eventually they had to rent new office space and hire more staff to keep up with demand. At a conservative estimate, PR generated them hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of media coverage and, most importantly, saw their sales, brand awareness and clients go through the roof!
