24.01.2022 Beads Of 'A Year And A Day' - Faery Beads 'A Year and A Day' was also said to be the length of time one would have to stay with the faeries in their realm, if one was to wander into their realm, before it would be possible to return to the mortal realm. For these faerie beads, originally made from rowan berries, I used 4 different sized red, or reddish, coloured beads, totalling all up to be 366 beads. 22.01.2022 Dinosaur #1 This is just a simple enough little dinosaur that I made as a gift. The soft brown material I used for the body has a nice stretch to it, allowing for a plump and rounded dinosaur figure, and the scales along its back bring a nice bit of colour to this otherwise bland dinosaur. 20.01.2022 Embroidered Star Sign Constellations - Libra Another star sign birthday gift I made, an embroidery of the constellation Libra. This was done using white embroidery thread on a silken navy blue material which I then placed in this white mini frame card. I also used my alphabet stamps to stamp the word Libra across the top of the card in blue ink to complete the piece. 18.01.2022 Embroidered Star Sign Constellations - Cancer As part of a birthday gift, I embroidered the constellation relating to the star sign Caner on to a framed card. The inside window which has the silken navy blue material with white embroidery. I finished by stamping the word Cancer across the top of the card in blue ink using my alphabet stamps. 14.01.2022 Baby Rattle - Bear Set A little baby gift I made for a new little baby boy. For these I actually found free patterns online with a google search. This set is a bear rattle with a bear squeak toy made with blue and maroon fabrics. For the rattle I added a bear face, but I left the flat bear squeak toy faceless as I liked that it was reversible. 04.01.2022 Ravenclaw Diadem #2 +pattern After my first attempt at creating the Ravenclaw Diadem, I couldn't decide if it was too plain or if I would prefer a more colourful, textured looking Diadem. So I redesigned the Ravenclaw Diadem slightly to include shadows and highlights to the piece. I also redesigned the matching earrings in the same way.
