24.01.2022 Not the best photo, but all these Australian native animals will be at the https://facebook.com/events/s/crueltyfree-fireaid/455968805074714/?ti=icl this Sunday. The result of the sale of these little guys will be donated to help injured precious animals as result of the bush fires. I already sold a Mom Kangaroo with her baby in the pouch to a dear friend. I have a Kookaburra in the making. The patterns for these guys are from the Lefthander Crocheted who is donating the proceeds of the patterns sales to the same cause.

11.01.2022 Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came today. I sold almost all of my little guys, only a lonely Emu was left. Thanks to your generosity $280 will go to help with bushfire relief through the wonderful Crueltyfree Fair organised by EnviroBren - Palm oil free, cruelty free, eco aware products for EveryBody.
11.01.2022 Today arrived my order of recycled t-shirt yarn. I like to make baskets with them, they work out very fast (however a bit hard on the hands), and the final product is very pretty. There is also Bluey the Wombat in the photo .
10.01.2022 Just finished this one, now to make his siblings. I like to make three of each one, not really sure why, one seems too little, four too many, and two is just not right, so three it is .
09.01.2022 Sometimes I run out of ideas, or I cannot find a project that excites me enough to invest countless hours on it. But I don’t like/want to stop. My crafts are my passion and the best therapy ever. And then is when I make scraps blankets, they are so easy and just flows, there is not measuring, not counting, it doesn’t matter the size or the colour, is almost effortless. I made this one this week, it isn’t perfect, by far, but is soft and big, and will be very well used this winter and the ones to come
09.01.2022 Magpie, I have two in stock. $25ea.
08.01.2022 Work in progress What do you think I am making? I avoid black yarn like poison because I cannot see what I am doing. It is like blind crocheting, I can only trust my fingers to know that I am right. But I am loving the result, it is still halfway, but I can see is going to be a good one.
06.01.2022 Just finished a batch of my dishwashing soap. It is made using 100% coconut oil and recycled containers that can be refilled.
06.01.2022 This Sunday I will be at the Vic Park Community Markets bringing my whole range. See you there
04.01.2022 Just finished this little guy. It will be auctioned in the https://facebook.com/events/s/crueltyfree-fireaid/455968805074714/?ti=icl with all proceeds from the sale going to help those affected by the fires (more information in the event Facebook page).
03.01.2022 Strange times. Now more than ever I appreciate my crafts. As almost everyone I am staying mostly at home, only going out for work or food. I have been quite productive in the crochet department, and soon I will start making more soaps and other body care products, and will also start making hand wave baskets. I will be ready, so ready, for my first market when pandemic times are over. For now, stay safe and healthy my friends. See you soon .
03.01.2022 I just labeled 5 new kinds of soaps. I love creating and experimenting, this is why my soaps are different. After lots of trial and error now I know what oils work well together and how much of it is needed to create a very good recipe. Reducing and reusing are at the core of my businness (and my life too), and it is reflected in almost every one of the things I do. The coffee soap is made using coffee grounds, the ones that I used for my morning coffee, and it makes for the ...most amazing exfoliant. The aquafaba soap is made using the liquid from the chickpeas, this liquid can be used as egg replacer in the kitchen, and in the soaps, it gives really luxurious and big bubbles. The Coca and Kaolin soap is made using brewed Coca leaves. Coca leaves are widely used in Perú and other countries in South America, and are full of vitamins and goodness. Kaolin Clay is added to this soap to add some creaminess and cleansing power to this soap. The Hot Cocoa soap is made using almond milk and cocoa powder. I used lemongrass essential oil and it is a creamy soap with a silky lather. Just soap is that, olive oil with a dash of coconut oil. Not scent or colour added. Perfect for the delicate skin. 02.01.2022 Ready to go! I am in Maylands today, see you later
01.01.2022 During the last weeks (and the coming ones) I had the privilege to participate in this program, learning about the Noongar culture with the most amazing teachers. I have been weaving a lot, and I am enjoying the process so much.
