23.01.2022 thanks EverEscents Organic Hair Care for allowing us to create your perfect space - who would of thought that this is a factory fit out - keeping the industrial look with the naked ply that we highlighted with black PVC Jointer - the entrance, we tried to allow as much light in as possible and to highlight the rear window - loving the finished features of black to the architraves, skirts and door - absolutely love this creative and unique office space

23.01.2022 new project - opening up this very vintage looking home / kitchen living area - I’m sure those mirrors were to make the lounge look bigger - now the wall is gone clients have designed a kitchen to suit their lifestyle - can’t wait to see this little home renovation become a long time dream for our clients

21.01.2022 our latest project was about building a kitchen to encourage a child’s imagination - more outdoor play and less screen time - all material and accessories are recycled and second hand - staying focused on our goal of being a sustainable small business - pre orders are now available for Christmas - custom designs are available to suit your child’s imagination and creativity

21.01.2022 our clients had water damage to their walk in robe - the plaster - skirting and cabinetry was all rotten and mouldy due to a water leak from the roof - the riser within the wall had not been sealed correctly on the roof - resulting in water running down the outside of the riser and causing prolonged damage to the internal timber studs and eventually rotting out the internal plaster and cabinetry - We replaced the rotten top and bottom plates - repaired the riser - hung new plaster and built new cabinetry to suit existing - thanks to Amy Hand for your work to get this project looking perfect for the clients

21.01.2022 bit of landscaping / paving for handmade carpentry - our clients have retired to their forever home - they were able to get a hold of some beautiful granite stones - handmade carpentry removed the old brick pavers - laid the granite stone pavers in crazy paving design style - the design brief was to keep the small courtyard natural to break up the sideway and side entrance to their home and create a little piece of haven they could enjoy - absolutely loving the natural colours of the granite stone - our clients are stoked

21.01.2022 completed our project in Coolum - client had an existing entrance to their home - unfortunately built using only pine timber - the harsh climate rotted it out quick fast - old footings removed with the help of Hilti jack hammer - extended new decking landing out - with new footings - hardwood posts supported in galvanised stirrups - secured to concrete pads - hardwood facia - hardwood joists and redgum stair treads on galvanised stringers - hardwood handrail - all of which was sanded and beveled prior to install - merbau decking - to finish I powder coated the handrail fixings to the posts - client was overwhelmed

17.01.2022 a little custom design project for our client - needing a usable space to store their riding saddles - together we constructed a design brief which incorporated the size - weight and height of the saddles by Sankey Saddlery - i fabricated using treated pine - which I sanded smooth - beveled the edges - notching the two timbers together and gave it a fresh coat of paint - the dowel used to support the saddles is secured in the timber frame and by a powder coated black bracket - the saddle stand was then installed fixed to a stud wall with powder coated batten drives - giving this unique custom design that wow finish

13.01.2022 Completed our job in Peregian Springs - clients were looking at another room for their teenage son while being able to utilise both spaces - we framed up a wall including a double sliding cavity - giving the option of a bedroom and an open spaced area for the kids - clients are stoked and to say that the teenage son is stoked with his now own room is an understatement

13.01.2022 a new build - our clients remotely contracted us to construct the side entrance gate - their septic tank was exposed and after designs were discussed - we decided on a deck landing to cover that later can be included in a entrance decking - the immaculate home is up for rent and I’m sure the tenants will love the added features to their home

12.01.2022 framing began at our job in the new Coolum industrial estate - our client EverEscents Organic Hair Care are opening their new factory - we are framing in under the mezzanine to create a usable space - highlighted by a entrance window to create natural light - framing under stair void and an internal wall to seperate the kitchen from the office space - client’s design brief is to have this finished in ply board with feature shadow cladding - giving this factory office space that wow effect

06.01.2022 Progress on our job in Peregian Springs - subframe completed - joists planned to create a level deck - joist protectant to all joists - 140 x 19 Merbau decking boards - this is the stage I call laying the straights - each straight deck board is laid as each 5th board using a 5mm gap in between the decking boards - second stage is cutting in the remainder of the deck boards in between the straights in a continuance pattern - ensuring joins of deck boards are two joists and two boards apart - looking forward to the finish on this little deck Timber and Merbau supplied by - Ironbark Timber Products Pty Ltd

03.01.2022 our latest project in Palmwoods - the existing pine deck boards were completely rotten - the subframe had fallen away from the house - the concrete slab area where the air con unit was had also fallen away from the house - we removed concrete, deck boards and subframe - subframe was re constructed and properly supported to the house - 140 x 19 Merbau was laid - including an entrance landing and rear landing area - clients are stoked with their forever decking Timber & decking supplied by - Ironbark Timber Products Pty Ltd

03.01.2022 we love raw earthy natural timber and on this project that’s what we got - for legends Slide Coffee Roasters - their smick new tasting room in Coolum opens Monday 29th June - for their sliding door entrances we fabricated these timber ramps - from recycled reclaimed timber’s - giving guests the welcoming comfort and overall safety - such a rewarding challenge to fabricate and see this timber come alive - hand crafted from recycled 100 x 100 rough sawn posts - plained and sanded - timber was then sealed with two coats of apoxy including sand on the final coat - giving this natural timber an earthy look and industrial grip - finished off with personalised powder coated fixings - lots of heart, mixed with a love of timber for a big yet small addition to this amazing space
