15.01.2022 Looking for a Qualified Master Jeweller Qualified Jeweller Part-time to possible Full time position available A minimum of 22.5 hours per week with flexibility to increase hours as required... Eltham, North Eastern Suburbs We are seeking an honest, self motivated and positive person to join our family run business at Magenta Creative Jewellery. Initially this position will be a Part-time position however we would love to make the position Full time the right person. The successful person must have retail experience and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a level head. The ability to pick up and retain new systems and information is a must as not only will you be expected to sell products but be able to receive watch and jewellery repairs. Initially the position will be starting at 22.5 hours per week but will increase as required. Our trading days are Monday to Saturday with no Sunday trade. This job offers a great variety of retail, working with repairs, and handmade products. A love of jewellery and appreciation of handmade craftsmanship is a must. The ability to interact with a variety of ages and mix of customers is also vital. The Jeweller for this role must be proficient in the following areas; Handmade manufacturing of jewellery pieces, both commissioned bespoke client orders and stock for our retail showroom. Producing high quality one off pieces. Communicate with our team when a new bespoke item is required. Assist on a day to day basis with all other ad hoc tasks associated with work in a busy jewellery workshop. The person we are looking for will be competent and reliable, with an ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth operations, looking for a long term career in Jewellery Manufacturing and a desire to grow and improve their skills as a Master Jeweller.
