16.01.2022 Melissa, Sharon and Aeron came to the studio today to print tote bags for their community group which was organised earlier in the year but postponed due to lockdown. This marks the return of workshops!! Yipeee!! I’ll be contacting those who have had their bookings postponed over the next day or two to reschedule. With a studio move happening over the next few weeks and Christmas fast approaching we may struggle to fit everyone in but Ill be taking bookings for January too.

03.01.2022 New workshop! How to make geode bath bombs. In this live streaming workshop, you will learn how to prepare your very own handcrafted geode bath bombs using mineral-rich salts and antibacterial sodium bicarbonate which will draw out impurities from the skin, leaving it feeling thoroughly cleansed and it will also help to relax aching muscles.... We will begin with a thorough explanation of the equipment and materials required and where to buy them so you can confidently set up at home and continue making fabulous bath bombs. I will demonstrate how to create the crystals then show you the step by step process of how to mix and shape your bombs using the provided pre-mixed base and finally, how to decorate the bombs with colour using mica powder and biodegradable glitter. You will receive enough ingredients to make approximately six or seven bath bombs and a recipe will be supplied so that you can continue making more at home!

02.01.2022 Over the weekend I taught an introduction to ceramics workshop online. Three techniques are shown, pinch pots, coil pots and slab pots. I also show how to attach clay pieces together properly so they don’t come apart as the dry and are fired plus other tips. I’ll keep working on these little pieces, I’ll smooth them out now that they are more leather hard and easier to work with.

01.01.2022 How awesome is this?!
