24.01.2022 It is a strange time we are facing at this time in our lives with this outbreak fo Cornoavirus. I wonder where this is going to take us and what our future holds. Will there be a vaccine, will our lives return to what we have been use to, or is this now going to be our way of everyday life. So much uncertainty surrounds us, so many questions with no sure answers. All we can do is do the best we can with the knowledge we have, be sensible, think of not only ourselves but o...thers. Tough times for so many and I can only hope the funding the Government is rolling out will help those who so need it but then what does our Countries debt look like in years to come and how do we fix that. It is such an enormous web this virus has created. Lets just try to all do the right thing, keep level heads about ourselves and hope that one day we can pick up where we left off and create a better world for us all. Stay safe. See more

19.01.2022 I hope all the men out there have had a great Fathers Day. I went to the cemetry today to place flowers and wish all the wonderful men who have been in my life a Happy Fathers Day, my Dad, my Brother, my Pop, my Great Uncle and my Great great Uncle. All these men left me with something so valuable that will continue on through all my life. Whether that special man is still with you or not, let them know how special they are through whatever way you can. And on that note HAPPY FATHERS DAY.

15.01.2022 Well it is snowing in Tassie and I mean snowing in Tassie, yes even at my place which is near the airport. I drove home in the snow and even though I slowed down to suit the conditions of a slippery road cars zoomed past me, unbelievable hey. I came home to white paddocks, trees adorned with snow and my horse standing in the doorway of their shed thinking to themselves that they aint going out there. We had snow last night and tonight and we are expected to have it for the next few days, oh can I just stay home by my fire . . . . . so to all of you who don't live in Tassie have you ever heart of it snowing like this and for those of you in Tassie, take care on our roads and most of all KEEP WARM.

13.01.2022 I am sending a cheery Hello to all those out there in Isolation Land. I hope you are all keeping well, happy and staying safe. Let's hope that by playing by the rules our lives will return to normal sooner rather than later. Be kind to yourselves, take care and be happy. Best wishes to all.

13.01.2022 The Coronavirus is causing people to fall on hard times so please be supportive of your fellow man. It's tough out there and none of us know if we are working tomorrow or not. I am still working at this point but all that could change with one word from our Government. It is a personal choice what people do at this time and we all have to respect that. And for those people who think this is alot of B.S. and for the man behind me in the queue at the Chemist today who conti...ned to almost breathe down my neck, please understand what social distancing is. So far I have been able to get feed for my beloved animals, horses, sheep, cat and dog but it is a concern as every day we hear of more businesses closing. This pandemic has such a wide spread effect on so many and so much, it isn't just us humans it's our beloved pets as well. So I hope everyone is doing okay including our furry friends. Stay safe. 13.01.2022 As our Governments slowly start to lift the restrictions on the Covid19 virus please let's not be too hasty and go mad, remember it only takes one to set it all off again and with anything like this a second wave can sometimes be inevitale if people don't do the right thing and still be careful and remember safety first. Keep safe one and all and remember slow and steady wins the race.

11.01.2022 I would just like to wish all those dear ladies a very Happy Mothers Day. Some will not see their Mothers on this special day, my thoughts are with you all but I am sure you will all feel each others love. And to those who are like me and no longer have their Mothers with them anymore may you also feel their love and warm hugs surrounding you. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

10.01.2022 Well another weekend is over and I sit in amazement and wonder where the weeks go these days. I seem to wake up Monday morning and the next thing it's Friday. Back to work to see my lovely clients. Out on the road . . . more traffic is getting about and honestly I am not sure if since people who have been in isolation have forgotten the road rules but golly gee PLEASE be more attentive and considerate. Thank you.

10.01.2022 Our normal roast tea tonight, but what a treat to try one of our homegrown, organic pumpkins and to say it was beautiful was an understatement, so much flavour with a beautiful texture, no chemicals just grown in pure hoses manure, hay and topsoil. This has been just one of many results of the efforts of our labour, amongst other vegies we managed to grow enough tomatoes to make enough tomato sauce to last a year, plenty of relish and a nice supply of picked green tomatoes. This coming year we hope to expand the garden and our herb garden so we can enjoy more chemical free vegies, you can't beat homegrown and thanks to my Dad, my Grandfathers and great Uncles for giving me the knowledge to produce such a great garden and to have the knowledge to pass on to my son and daughter, I am truly the lucky one.

10.01.2022 Tuesday, 1st September would have been my late brother, Mark's 60th birthday and I just wish he was here to celebrate his day with us. Mark was a great person and liked by so many and left us far too soon and was too young. We miss you Mark and never a day goes past I don't think of you, Mum and Dad. For as long as I live I will always love you, thank you for being my loving brother. Miss you xoxo Happy 60th Birthday Mark xoxo

For me it is just using common sense with an added bonus of extre care thrown in to keep everyone safe. I can assure you I am doing my upmost to keep everyone in a healthy enviroment. 09.01.2022 ANZAC DAY With the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. LEST WE FORGET

08.01.2022 This Covid virus has sent our lives upside down and it got me thinking about Christmas and how it is going to affect everyone. One thing I thought about was buying Christmas presents, so many people shop on-line but has anyone thought that our freighting situation has also been effected by this virus so . . . . . . why not buy local, visit those little shops you have never been in before, go to our small towns and check out the shops there. What I am trying to say is let's buy local, support our Tassie businesses. Businesses are suffering and even closing down, let's try to help them. I am a small local business and I know what it's like to survive a time such as what we are going through now. Happy shopping.

08.01.2022 I was so proud of my beautiful horse, Annie, today. I had to get her rug back on today, now this is a horse who at some stage of her life has been treated badly so she can get quite scared at times. But today she did everything I asked of her. I had no-one to help me so just had to rely on my own capabilities and when it comes to Annie you never know but I just walked up to her speaking softly and calmly. She just stood there while I put her rug on and did it up. She has proven to me that she is finally starting to trust me, I was so pleased and very proud of my beautiful girl. xoxo

08.01.2022 Just wondering if there is anyone who knows where I can purchase a round bale of hay from, preferrably a clean, dry one in or around the Launceston area and only requiring 1 bale. Please let me know, thank you in advance.

07.01.2022 So loving my garden. My vegie garden is starting to florish, the tomatoes have stalks on them like trees and the amount of tomatoes is unreal . . . . . so seems like it's going to be a good year for relish and tomato sauce. My garden is so therapeutic and rewarding and my plants are good listeners and allow me to do all the talking . . . . there is certainly something wonderful to be said about a garden.

05.01.2022 Today is my daughter's birthday, all those years ago she came into our lives and has let us know ever since that she is here. The baby that never slept, the little curly haired girl has grown into a beautiful woman and today I wish her a wonderful day and all that fills her heart and brings her happiness comes her way. Happy Birthday, Love you xoxo

05.01.2022 Happy New Year to one and all. It is hard to reflect on the year just gone and the new one beginning when so many people are suffering, these terrible bushfires that have devastated so many lives and the lives of our native animals. To lose a loved one who was just trying to help or save their own property is just so horrendous and for me my heart aches so badly for their families and friends. How do people go on from all this disaster. I hope and pray this all comes to an end soon and my loving thoughts are with the people who are so badly affected and the men and women who put their lives on the line to help others. Amongst your happiness spare a thought for these people, each and everyone of them.

03.01.2022 Have had a quiet day, just the usual chores and the delight of tending to my decking garden. As I have horses and sheep having a flower garden is a bit hard and as some plants can be deadly to my animals I chose to have my beautiful flower plants on my front and back decking. Our very cold frosts of late have not helped some of my plants. I must say it has been lovely to take my mind away from the past few months of Covid19 and spend time with my plants, a simple day but a lovely day all the same.

02.01.2022 Further to my last post on Covid-19 and Christmas shopping. Another idea is Gift vouchers . . . most of your family and friends would regularly visit a business place, whether it's the Hairdresser, Beauty Therapist, their favourite retail store or going bowling or eatery . . . why not get them a gift voucher, it is something they will use and I am sure in these tough times anyone would appreciate it. Yes I do gift vouchers too . . . but it's not only about my business it's just another idea for a Christmas gift to help you get a gift for someone. Happy shopping.

02.01.2022 My 23 year old daughter said something last night that was very powerful in words. She said we should all take this time to slow down. Everyone is always in so much hurry that we miss all the little things and the things that are important. Her own life is go go go, work, work, work, never time to stop and breath, to do things at a slower pace, to take heed of what is around us. So maybe we can take heed of what this young woman has said, smell the roses for once. I know I have two great young adults in my life and I just couldn't be anymore prouder of them if I tried. I love you both more than you will ever know xoxo xoxo

01.01.2022 I've been listening to some wonderful music lately and it has taken me back to the days of the Cabaret. I can remember my parents going out to the Hotel Tasmania to a Cabaret - dinner and dancing, remember those times when ladies dressed up like ladies and the men wore a collar and tie. I remember having a long dress just like my Mum that we use to wear when we went to the Princess Theatre to see someone like Winifred Atwell (famous Pianist). I remember going to the Hotel Tasmania to see Johnny O'Keefe many years ago and I still have the autographed record and autographed poster. Do you ever wonder what happened to those times? It feels a little sad that we have become so casual about things and about what we wear these days, or is it that I am getting old (no need for anyone to agree ha ha).
