19.01.2022 Just attended MSTR Scar tissue release training today at the Institute of Fitness. OMG!! Game changer.

19.01.2022 Now to get the the next part of the Certificate, once case studies are complete & all online study components completed. This training got rescheduled a few times this year as did our lives. Loving what I do!!Scar tissue is not just the scars you physically see on the outside. Whiplash causes micro tears, torn muscles cause internal scars, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, burns, acne, and the list goes on. All scarring has an affect on the fascia/connective tissue. 14.01.2022 We tend to only think of scars affecting our looks. Big mistake! Scars will affect function, and scars will affect your nervous system. How can it not? ... Skin need to be able to glide to a certain degree over underlying tissue in order to allow us to move. Scarring will affect this particular property and force us to start moving in a slightly different way and space. It will change movement dynamics. Often also through subconscious defensive mechanisms. But..., you penetrate the skin, you penetrate the nervous system - the driver of movement - of everything. We see it clinic on a daily basis. Muscle function and movement affected by scarring - however small. I'm doing the MSTR training in a weeks time.
