13.01.2022 "Pain is weakness leaving your body" is a saying a mate of mine used when cycling. This is a good mantra when your on your edge and have push to finish a race or tough training day. Pain and niggles outside of the hurt locker are your body telling you something. After 2 days of 3 sports and 8hrs+ of exercise my body hurts. Usually I would be ok with that so at first I ask why am I so wrecked? Next I listen. My body is talking to me saying slow down, get in your recovery, YOU... NEED IT. Good food, plenty of H2O, compression and ahhhh, tomorrow a massage for me. Don't ignore that voice, as doing so is a sure way to become deeply fatigued and injured.
