21.01.2022 Get THAT project done. Get your skip bin and get into it during the break!

18.01.2022 Another innovative idea?

11.01.2022 "This has been a well-recognised problem overseas in the United Kingdom and the United States for well over 20 years." https://www.abc.net.au//suez-herbicides-contamina/13175200 In addition to this, I wonder how much of these materials go to companies composting for soil manufacturing i.e. the bags of soil we buy at landscape yards and other stores?... The fact is that talking about recycling is only the tiniest tip of the iceberg from there it gets more and more complicated.

03.01.2022 Now that's innovation and that's where the governments need to provide tax breaks to drive change and create jobs. After 18 months or so of a waste levy in Queensland, I've seen little change in behaviours. I see LARGE stockpiles of waste not being processed. Paying a penalty to stop waste from going to landfill is change through punishment. For the average bin, we do it's just plain difficult to separate the waste. The percentage of bins that are clean green, waste, concrete etc in very low. That's the nature of waste something our Environment Dept. do not understand. So it falls on the receivers of waste to be the processors and its here that I see little change. Then there are innovative thinkers that come along and do something really new and we need to support them and buy their products even if we pay a little bit more.
