25.01.2022 Who else saw Hanging Rock’s very own Hamish on the VRC page this week?! Hamish is the new Training and BPSA Officer for VRC. Congratulations Hamish! We look forward to seeing what Hamish achieves in his new role and wish him all the best.

21.01.2022 Last week we stayed warm at home and interacted over Zoom, playing a few games of 'The Truth Comes Out'. Answering questions, we gave some interesting answers and had a good giggle at some of the responses from our fellow crew members... See why we laughed?

20.01.2022 We had a great night last night hanging with the 1st Woodend Venturers! We started the night with a game of real-life Among Us and ended with some good old-fashioned Scouting games!! (There are Rovers in this photo...somewhere!)

18.01.2022 On Friday we were visited by our Region RA Scotty and ventured away from Zoom and out into nature for a night hike! After a quick dinner together, we hiked up Mt Macedon, encountering many wildlife and fungi along the way and even invested Pobblebonk our new froggy friend the crew :p

16.01.2022 With restrictions loosening a bit to allow outdoor gatherings, the Unit thought it was time for a hike! Some of our regional-dwelling members got together on Friday night and went for a hike through the Blackhill Reserve

13.01.2022 As Rovers, we wear our Unit scarf with pride at all scouting events we attend! But now HRRU have got some new gear to show off... Say hello to our brand new jumpers!

11.01.2022 What a yummy night Hanging Rock had this Friday! We went on a crew trip to Coles to find ingredients for something delicious to cook..the only catch? Our budget was one gold coin from each attending member! We think that these banana Nutella croissant toasties turned out pretty amazing And obviously we had to get a watermelon.

09.01.2022 At HRRU, we celebrate birthdays in style...usually with an ice-cream cake!!! We’ve just celebrated our first Unit birthday of the year, everybody wish Abbey a happy birthday!!!

06.01.2022 Who can believe it’s been a whole year since we moved into the new den?! Here’s a few pictures of the Unit painting the space to celebrate! And of some of our members taking a quick lunch break... We might not have gotten to spend a lot of time in our den last year (thanks, 2020) but we’re hoping this year we can have some great nights in there as a Unit!
