25.01.2022 18|12|20 | Elizabeth & Benjamin A beautiful last wedding for 2020. Liz and Ben were married at Dryridge Estate on a misty Friday afternoon. Chef served satay skewers, Peking duck pancakes, crispy skinned salmon, Mediterranean chicken, sweet potato ravioli and much more.

23.01.2022 Petite & Intimate | Camila & Jarron On Saturday the Hangree team catered for Camila & Jarrons intimate wedding of 15 in Woodford. Pictured below are mini bruschetta and pork belly skewers for canapes. For mains, potato gnocchi and Mediterranean chicken. And for sides they had the maple sweet potato cous cous and green beans with broccolini.

21.01.2022 NPWS Ranger Day | In a Lunchbox Yesterday the Hangree team supplied lunch to the NPWS staff whilst they celebrated Ranger day at Govetts Leap Lookout in Blackheath. Chef served some adorable handhelds. In box 1 there was a chicken club wrap with smoked salmon sushi and a brownie. In box 2 for the vegans there was a falafel wrap with a broccoli salad and chocolate mousse. And in box 3 for our gluten free folk there was a caesar salad, smoked salmon sushi and a brownie.... Everything was individually wrapped to keep everything fresh and tasty. It also looked so amazing.

20.01.2022 14|3|20 | Hannah & Jesse The very wet Saturday last weekend did not put a dampener on this gorgeous wedding. Hannah & Jesse tied the knot at Dryridge Estate. Many guests complimented the chef on her food, saying 'it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding'. The Hangree team don't scrimp on quality when it comes to our service and food. We ensure our customers are looked after, right from the moment you enquire, through to the end of the event, when the last drink is... served. Congratulations Hannah & Jesse!



20.01.2022 21|3|20 | Erin & Brad On Saturday Hangree managed to cater for one last wedding before rules were set regarding the coronavirus. Erin and Brad married at Seclusions Blue Mountains on the most gorgeous day. Our team are currently working with brides and grooms to postpone their weddings. 20.01.2022 Cool the City | Penrith City Council Hangree catered for one of its biggest functions on Tuesday. Approx 400 people were fed morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea at The Joan Sutherland Centre in Penrith. Everyone was well and truly filled with good food by the end of the day.... #fresh #catering #handmade #functions #penrith

20.01.2022 A Perfect Rainy Day | Kaitlyn & James The rain didn't dampen anyones spirits at Kaitlyn & James' wedding at Lithgow State Mine Railway Limited on Saturday. The Halloween spirited event certainly was enjoyed by all. Chef served up pork skewers, mini antipasto bowls, hot chorizo, pea, roasted pumpkin, fresh herbs and goats cheese risotto and slow coked beef with chimi churri.... Kaitlyn and James' wedding cake was made by an external provider.

16.01.2022 14|11|20 | Sarah & Matthew A few Saturdays ago Hangree had the privilege of catering for Sarah and Matthews wedding at Seclusions Blue Mountains. A stunning day enjoyed by all. Pictured below we have the chicken and leek mini pie, pork belly skewers, cous cous salad, chicken scallopini, chat potatoes and mini pavs w lemon curd as well as chocolate mousse....

15.01.2022 18|1|20 | Sharlene & Ben And the Hangree team were back to it on the weekend. Catering for Sharlene & Ben's wedding. The rain just held out for the ceremony at the stunning Seclusions Blue Mountains location. Below we have a salad consisting of radish, peas, broccoli, sprouts, pistachios, pepitas, fennel, currants, fresh herbs and apple cider dressing. The second salad being roasted beetroot sweet potato, orange, radish, almonds, spinach, goats cheese and honey mustard vinaigrette. For mains a mediterranean chicken and roast sweet potato and bulgarian feta ravioli.

15.01.2022 7|3|20 | Grace & Matt It was an intimate affair on Saturday for Grace & Matt's wedding. The weather was perfect for a wedding, but the food was even better.

14.01.2022 7 |11|20 | Anne Louise & Chris A couple of weeks ago the Hangree team catered for Anne Louise & Chris's wedding at Dryridge Estate. It was a pleasure to cater for such a beautiful couple. Anne Louise did an amazing job of organising every fine detail of her wedding, even up to the point of making her own cake and bonbonnières. Some of the dishes served up were mini bruschettas, mushroom and mozzarella arancini, pork belly skewers, Mediterranean chicken, pumpkin and fetta ravi...oli and pesto gnocchi. Congratulations guys. We hope you had a well earned rest!

13.01.2022 13|2|21 | Eloise & Blayne Through a slight break in the heavy rain at Seclusions Blue Mountains Eloise & Blayne married on Saturday. The pretty misted weather made for perfect wedding photos.... Chef served beef sliders, chicken skewers and mini quiches for canapes. For mains there was lamb shoulder, braised beef and gnocchi.

11.01.2022 27|2|21 | Michal & Lee Anne On the last days of February Michal & Lee Anne were married at Seclusions Blue Mountains. This Polish themed affair was enjoyed by all. For canapes there was chicken skewers with creamy herb sauce, arancini and mini antipastos (made by the bride & groom). For dinner there was lamb shoulder, ravioli and beetroot salad. The bride and groom also made a traditional Polish salad salatka wiosenna.

10.01.2022 31|1|2020 | Jacqui & Paul On Friday last week guests braved the heat to witness Jacqui and Paul get married at Dryridge Estate. Although the day was super hot, this did not stop everyone from having a thoroughly enjoyable day. Hangree served canapes and a banquet style main.... Congratulations Jacqui & Paul!

Chef served up chicken schnitzel with stroganoff sauce, sticky beef rib and chicken skewers to mention a few.... We hope you had a beautiful day Jordyn & Matt!!!!

07.01.2022 Chefs Gnocchi | How it is Made Some of the Hangree team took a short break up the coast last week, it was very relaxing. We requested chefs home made gnocchi for lunch one day. We thought she was relaxing too much so we wanted to put her to work. She was able to part herself from drinking a few cocktails and made us the Creamy Bacon, Mushroom, Fresh Herb and Parmesan Potato Gnocchi. It was delicious as ever. As you can see chef made from absolute scratch. All Hangree food is always fresh, nothing frozen. Chef cannot bring herself to use any frozen food. She will only serve her customers (and her staff ) food of the highest quality.

06.01.2022 Wedding Tastings | Back In Action With the recent relaxing of COVID19 rules, the team at Hangree have been able to start up their wedding tastings again. We kicked off the tastings today with 5 lovely couples. Two of the many dishes that were served up were the pesto, goats cheese, pea, roasted cherry tomato & olive potato gnocchi and the chicken scallopini with creamy herb sauce.... Its great to get back to cooking and serving all our lovely customers.

06.01.2022 5|12|20 | Brittany & Martin At the beginning of December Brittany & Martin tied the knot at Seclusions Blue Mountains. The rain dropped ever so lightly during the ceremony. But that didn't dampen any spirits. Some of the food pictured below is pork belly skewers, mushroom and mozzarella arancini, Mediterranean chicken, lamb shoulder and chat potatoes.

01.01.2022 29|8|20 | Cindy & Michael On Saturday Hangree catered for Cindy & Michaels wedding at Seclusions Blue Mountains. The warmer weather was welcomed for this beautiful day. Because the venue cannot have a dance floor due to COVID19 restrictions, the bride and groom were still able to provide a thoroughly enjoyable evening by giving their guests canapes, mains, salads, sides and a dessert. Everyone had time to sit back, relax and slowly enjoy the food. Some of the delights chef served up were, pork belly skewers, mini pies, braised lamb shoulder, potato gnocchi, honey glazed dutch carrots and brownie.
