14.01.2022 A very eventful morning. All runners got split into colours, trout, harlequin, white/crested. The large buff Orpingtons are now on their way to their new home. And we have had the first ducklings hatch for 2020 six baby Muscovys who will be off to their new home in a few days.

14.01.2022 Something new in the chook pens!! Nothing better then large breeds, bantams are cute but these big girls sure make you stop and stare for a while (sorry I’m not taking egg orders if I plan on selling some latter in the season I’ll put a post up)

13.01.2022 sold pending pick up. I have a pack of ten Japanese Bantam eggs available to post tomorrow, they are mix from two breeding pens, one pen is pure white the other is black mottled. All eggs laid within the last five days, have 90% fertility on eggs I set two weeks ago from these pens.

13.01.2022 Tumbler pigeons for sale around half a dozen available mostly brown with a few white spots. Located Clermont pick up only, live fine in chook pens only small no good for meat only pets and showing.

10.01.2022 (Currently a two month waiting list) Mix of black mottle and Millieflure (There is one frizzle in the pen but don’t believe she is laying yet) I can only post in packs of ten or fifteen eggs due to the packing I use Fertility has been good 14/16 eggs collected two weeks ago are currently growing well in the incubator

10.01.2022 Well it’s really starting to look like chicken season again with no shows to go to all birds are now back in their breeding pens. The first RIR of 2020 hatched this morning as well as some more bantam dark barred chickens. Other incubators slowly filling up. Not all breeds are laying yet, currently only selling shamo eggs all other breeds are still not laying well enough to sell eggs from most wont be available until August.

05.01.2022 Only kept two single comb RIR boys this season and they are the sweetest boys don’t know how I will ever decide between them which one to keep. They are almost six months old and still a lot of growing to go but already they are taller then dad.

04.01.2022 Sold. I have decided to part with my Large Buff Orpingtons as I am unable to find a good Drake I feel like these girls are going to waste. There are four females all going on three years old not yet laying for the season two are completely unrelated to the Drake and the other two females, and from good show stock, and one Drake from last season he is pure but brown and never seemed to fill out only pet quality but will still do the job if needed. I will not separate the group... and don’t want to see them go as just pets as this isn’t an easy breed to find. Located Clermont Central QLD buyer must find their own transport. Please pm for price, but check into transport first don’t pm if you know there is no way of you getting the birds, I would like to see them go to someone who will look after this breed.
