02.01.2022 OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR ‘LITTLE FLOWER’ Story Behind The Video: As many of you have probably gathered through our (many!!) photos Olivia & I are very, very good friends (besties alert!) and have become even closer over the past few years in part to our shared condition - Endometriosis. It is a condition that impacts 1/9 women in Australia and it’s symptoms are .. well, Google and you will out its a lot to deal with! Through the filming of this music video for my single ‘Litt...le Flower’ I wanted to showcase our friendship, my love of community and singing, whilst bringing awareness to ‘endo’ through the yellow flower. (Yellow is the official colour used by Endo Australia). Chronic conditions are not easy at all to live with, and having supportive friends that just get it is essential to keeping positive, and moving forward with treatments to help mange and give quality of life. Olivia Hicks is not only an amazing friend/human, but a passionate advocate in the work she does as the Ambassador for Endometriosis Australia sharing her story and bring awareness in many ways, including through her work as a radio journalist, despite battling the condition herself. ‘Little Flower’ has taken many meanings over the years, but my hope is it uplifts those who are down, brings people together as a community and shares the love of creating something to bring hope and joy. A HUGE massive endless thank you to @mgrowcott Mathew James for his time, energy, friendship, creative vibes, and positivity in bringing this ‘lounge room conversation’ to reality!
