25.01.2022 After many years of feeling uncomfortable with the way my works seemed to be ‘lost-in-translation’ during the replication/printing process, I felt the need to create my own version. A series that felt authentic, raw yet delicate, transparent and layered. Works on paper that are entirely original yet affordable. Particularly for young art collectors like myself. This is where my hand-painted edition series stemmed from. ... With a subtle nod to my formative years studying printmaking, I have returned to works on paper. Utilising the same transparency and layering techniques retrospective of where my work first began. A visual representation of incandescent embers in the skythe shell was lucent with mystery and checkered in orange and the blue.
