23.01.2022 A little about full moon in Pisces: This Full moon is set to be a transformational one, with the moon in dreamy, creative, feminine pisces, and our sun in its opposition grounded, practical Virgo we will feel a distinct push and pull at this time. ... The need to escape or run may be strong, however our business and work duties will also be calling. The answer is to find balance - one foot on the solid ground and one in your flowing creativity. 19.01.2022 When I first started practicing yoga I was definitely drawn to the physical side of things. Right now even the idea of getting into this pose gives my mind pain! My current situation is much less pretzel like and more like hot baths and only yin yoga.... For well over a month now I have been the most sedentary I have been in a long time as I have been suffering with a stress fracture in my foot. This pain which started in my foot then transitioned all the way up one side of my body that even my sleeping was been effected due to the pain. I cannot remember the last time I have been out of action in this way for so long and with the added strain and stress of Rona on our all shoulders at times it has brought me to tears at how slowly I seem to be recovering. It’s is believed that yogis, especially yoga teachers are not meant to feel anger or frustration, we are the ones who are meant to have our sh*t together and I have been having to do immense work on practising what I preach recently. As I start to peak at the light on the other side, the silver lining I have learnt is a reminder in self kindness. When I learnt to surrender and soften to the knowledge that this was going to take time to heal from, is when I started to enjoy the process of healing rather than fight back and make it last longer. Massive thank you to my husband for doing allllll of the dog walks and heavy lifting of late. I am so grateful to live a healthy life. See more

19.01.2022 The full moon in Sagittarius, while it can bring optimism, is forcing us to let go of past trauma, Sagittarians don’t hold back. And, under this full moon, maybe you shouldn’t either. It asks us to Embrace Adventure + Freedom I encourage you to experiment with what freedom means to you. Push up against the boundaries that hold you back from feeling free. Lean into what feels adventuresome. ... Further, it’s SO important to refrain from censoring your emotions this full moon. Anger may need to come up, and out. If so, let it! Don’t be afraid to express yourself. This doesn’t mean attack anyone quite the contrary. It just means offering yourself the opportunity to release what’s pent up inside. This particular full moon is also a lunar eclipse meaning it is more of a impulsive and angry moon because she is square Mars. This creates heated emotions that can quickly turn to anger. The opposition to Venus retrograde focuses this anger on love relationships. You could find yourself losing your temper with a loved one or face emotional attacks from others. There is a danger when taking risks or acting impulsively. But holding onto anger and frustration is not advised, so some degree of emotional discomfort is to be expected. The key to handling this quick anger is to release your frustrations in a controlled way. Avoid being overly defensive or mean if someone shares their feelings with you. Courage is needed to face what is making you feel threatened. Patience and unconditional love are needed to stop frustration and irritation quickly escalating to anger and hostility. 07.01.2022 Is there anywhere that you're being "two-faced" in your life? That includes subtle "lies of omission," the things you don't say that build up into a wedge between you and your loved ones. Maybe there are things you're too scared or shy to say aloud like "I love you," or "You're important to me," or "You hurt my feelings". This full moon in Gemini is another soul stirring one, highlighting any imbalances involving self love and emotional support. There is a need for change and... spontaneity right now that we can all learn from. Make sure you take some time to harvest harmony of thinking and feeling with another heart centred full moon this month. Safety lies in thinking about your feelings and sharing them with others. 01.01.2022 Be yourself, everyone else is taken I hold my hands up and declare I have a turbulent relationship with social media, it can be the worst trigger for me when it comes to comparing. In my ideal world social media wouldn’t exist and we would all have no knowledge it. I have been known to delete all apps from my phone from time to time when I notice those feelings of inadequacy and negative self talk creeping to regularly.... However, I can see the positives also with social media if used correctly and am learning to relate in a much less ego driven and kind hearted way with it all. Reminders to myself when I feel like I’m comparing: Slow down your breath and the thoughts will slow too. Send a message of compassion inwards. Then send a message of compassion outwards. Everyone feels like this from time to time. We all have an Achilles heel. If it’s related to social media PUT DOWN MY PHONE
